Are you entering Indigo? I remeber in one of your posts you mentioned that in 2006, you will be the first girl to win an entry at such an event.
But you also said somewhere that you cant attend for some reason or other. Or have things changed? I do hope so.

Hi Ronley, my entering depends on the quantity of goods my garden provides....not too sure about that at all....I'm a closet grower and a 1 ounce entry takes quite a dent out of my stash, not to mention the fact that I can only do 2 runs a year, so I have to watch out for my needs before I can consider parting with any.

I will most definitely and most unfortunately not be making it this year....y'all are going to have to party for me :smile:

So a grower doesnt have to be present to win ? Man i have my best run of sourD ever just about ready for harvest. Would have a great cure by the time the contest gets here. Sounds like fun :)

durga, it pains me greatly, believe me....I would very much have enjoyed meeting you too. You are an extremely intelligent and interesting person, and hopefully sooner or later I'll have the pleasure :smile:

I am not entering - however if I was / after smoking the entries last year = I personally would go after the; Growers Indica Cup - in my personal opinion - I felt it was there for the taking.

IMHO - The only - memorable Growers Indica was JLP's GKrush

& yes - I smoked the winner

and I do very well understand you.
Thank God I had a good crop and so I am prepared to spare the ounce. Its a fun cause and I do so love a good competition.
I am really sorry that we wont be meeting, but hey Indigo- theres always the following year, so perhaps we will meet then.

Mosca Negra...I may not be entering either, and I don't come physically equipped with balls from birth, but when it comes to my friends I have more balls than most men here....so why don't you keep any uncalled for nastiness towards my friend NWM to yourself and out of my thread, I won't have anybody disrespecting anybody here...much less my friends...capeesh? You may have won first in the indica cateogry last year but that doesn't make you better than anybody else. People are entitled to have preferences and express them, and that's exactly what NWM did.

Now let's keep this thread nice and on topic.

You can judge unless you know all the facts.. for some the requirements are not achievable so it's not about having the balls but not being able to meet them.And besides no one owes any one any explanation it's a contest not the freaking UN-top so I that case I totally agree with Indigo and attacking eachother doesn't help the cause we stand for or the love we have for one thing namely....WEED!!

Shouldnt be too much of a hurry declaring whether we choose to enter or not. We have about 5 months left. Good things take time. Lets have the weed cure a little and see what we have so we arent just tossing an ounce into the wind. Shouldnt take much more then ten days for the entry to arrive so if you wait awhile and see if your crop cures out the way you expect then you can make an educated descision if you think your product is worthy.If I enter ill be testing my pot in march and then making a final decision .... no need to jump the gun till ya know what ya got:) I surely dont want to commit to sending something in that im not sure is my best :joint:

Same kind of problem for me. A ounce is still mucho. Maybe I should grow bigger plant or smoke less. Rigth now I'm growing some NL BBud to be ready the 15th january+ 2 month dry curing is it enougth to make a contender?
If the herb is fine count me in.
If not. I will not participate to save the lung of the juges.

And try to make it next year with my best homegrown to my standard.
I really like the idea of a grower cup.

cyril, if you think your NL Bbud is very appealing in all of its aspects (appearance, taste, aroma, high and quality of the smoke), and worthy of notice, then enter it! If you have to count your grams and don't think the smoke is anything more than nice, then hang onto it. There's going to be a lot of entries, and those that get noticed among the others are those more likely to win. Run of the mill weed will place in a run of the mill position, that's the bottom line, and you're the best judge of whether you feel your weed is Cup material or not.
