Trust me.....I could use a change of attitude /

I have been known BBQ just about anything - but some how I think BOG on a spit would have to much THC in him to have any real taste to the meat

My feelings on the daily schedules...

My feelings on the daily schedules...

I would just like to say one thing...I am very very very dissapointed.

With everything thats going on over the course of the Cup there is no timeframe for my arrival! Who missed it? Someone forget about me...lol. :biglaugh:

I'm super jealous but my excitement for all of you overshadows my jealousy. I hope you all make the most of what's going on over there. You are going to have an unreal time I'm sure ;) I'll be there in '06! I can't wait to hear all the stories. IC forums are going to be a happening place when you all get back.Later OH

I will be arriving when the Hortus Botanicus tour is underway and will miss that unfortunately. I guess I'll be meeting up with everybody when Fat City reopens at 7:00 pm, but will stop by Fat City once I've checked into my hotel...want to go to the Cannabis College Auction, but I'm puzzled by the schedule, does nobody eat dinner in A'Dam? I can get by without lunch but I do like my dinner

You can always grasd one of those pickled herrings that they sell on the streets. If that doesn't tickle your fancy im sure we can find you something good to eat. The asian food in the dam is great just about anything can be found. Lewt us know what you want and i can point you in the right direction. Hell i will even join ya after a day of smoking a nice meal always sounds good for the munchies! :friends: :joint:

We play each day by ear but Dinner is on my Agenda and having a group is something Gypsy and I both enjoy. I think during the time Fat City closes to us is when we should hit a different restaurant each night. I have a nice Ti restaurant I would enjoy taking you all to because it is a place that honors the Dali Lama and he as visited this place. Pictures of him there are prominently displayed and the food is quite authentic and reasonably priced. They have good scotch too. :D BOG

Los Pilones is a realy good mexican place over near dolphins, it has a wall of liquer, and the best dessert ive ever had! tho i coulda been totaly blazed(well, i was totaly blazed, more i ment i coulda been influenced by the weed, but either way it was a life changing experiance! :)
hehheheh, coco's outback!!! kangaroo steaks and large spliffs! and the list goes on and on... thats part of the fun of amsterdam, i love eating all the good foods...

Wel I'll join ya for a dinner one of those days but my budget will probably not allow me to eat fancy more than once. Dinners with BOG are great fun!

Here's some of the stuff we had last year.

good Grinds are everywhere, even the FEEBO!

good Grinds are everywhere, even the FEEBO!

Aloha,

In the Netherlands, it is not to hard to find quality food.

anything with meat and local cheese can't go wrong.

your breakfast will be coffee, sliced ham, 1 egg, three cheeses, bread and a yogurt in most hotels.

Fred-- the Dutch don't know BBQ from wet pulled pork or dry rub.

The restaurants that grill meet in the Dam are are called Argentinian style.

i.e. the dutch cuisine credits the South American Paniolo/cowboy for grilled meats and there is virtually zero representation of the Southern/Texan/ Barbeque so popular with all us yanks.

Even the late-nite coin-op FEEBO (you'll see em) has a few tasty warm cheese toasties that rock for .50.

True Dutch food is usually good, and I often eat lunch at the little Dutch place right off the Leidesplein.

Plan on gaining weight if you are tempted by baked goods and deserts. They seem to be everywhere, even the chocolate dipped fresh-baked croisants they serve late night near the dam.

Remember, it's bad form not to purchase a drink or a snack from a shop if you stick around, even if you bought plenty kine, due to the slim profit margin on cannabis.

As a chef for twenty years, I think I can help anyone with any epicurean queries.

Aloha.
