Thats the best way to do it... thats why i'm going for the HPS 400 too for flowering the AIs, i'm even thinking of adding an ultra-violet with the MH during veg.
MHH 400 rocks in veg, even in flowering i'v seen great results but still i'm willing to try the HPS 400... althaugh there's been some different believes about wich one is best, coz some say MH is better but most ppl say HPS is better on both stages but i think it depends on what brand & other things like cool white & stuff like that.

from my experience with flowering with mh is the quality was better but the yield was down
