one is about 6'' long but its almost 3'' wide n still growing

i have pretty rough conditions during the summer so i dont invest much into the plants this time of year. Biggest problem was growing from seed and veging a little to long for the amount of soil i used. basicaly had 3-4 foot tall plants in 3/4 gallon containers, and when growing in soil that makes it tough, almost like growing in hydro with earth juice. plants are all fairly healthy but not up to their full potential.

have 8 plants still growing under the 400 watter and a couple of them look like they're going to be about twice the size as the nug shown. Cant wait to see yours though what strain were you growing?

Whats the story on the Molasses? I havent heard anything about that, what does it do for the girls?

Mmmm....... Absolutely incredible photos. When I look at these I seem to keep hearing the old '70's hit "Wild Mountain Honey" by Steve Miller Band.

Anyway, I am getting to the good part of my first 400W HPS grow- I have 4 plants at 40 days into 12/12. 3/4 are of the type called FLO. I got the seeds from medical grower I met on OG. The temps have been xtreme for awhile but are now down to a pretty decent level. They didn't get visibly burnt but I could tell the growth was slowed down for a week or so.

I used crappy gardening soil that included fungus gnats at no extra charge! I am going to go with a Fox Farm product next time. I can't believe I got 4/4 F's.
(Grand Slam). I have also gone 0/3-(Struck Out). I have read that FlO can finish in 6 weeks instead of the more normal 8+. I think that the one pictured is getting pretty close as more than 1/2 of the pistils have turned. I have been looking at the trich's and there don't seem to be any amber ones yet. Watching and waiting.............

I don't even understand the Macro function. I don't have a cell phone. Imagine that!!
I am just beginning to learn about Macro and Flash options. What I do know is that

Wow sneakinman! Your plants look much more like Sativa than mine do.
Mine are 60/40 Sativa/Indica. I would describe them but the pictures do it best. They are really Bushy with fat leaves.

Stonedgrunt55- If you are still with me- lol- My camera is a wonderful thing. I used to use a 35mm SLR and used 35mm film. It is not like I have just taken my first pic. I am just new to digital photography. I am new to the art of taking pics of plants that is for sure!! You can't take photos of them while they are in the grow room- The HPS
makes that a given thing. I have tried taking pics of them while on a short visit to the great outdoors of sunlight. This scares the hell out of me. My nosey neighbors are sure to take a look. I am OK with that. 2PM on a lazy Tuesday Afternoon- Check The Moody Blues- It's all good.
Stay tuned for some further photos. I think that I am closing in on harvest time.
I can't rely on any written advice. One has to simply look at the plants themselves.

I'v tried to take pics in the grow room but like u said, especially with lights on coz they will come too bright.I'v been taking pics with a crappy webcam lol but now as i'm seeing my girls producing all that sugar i really gotta buy a digital cam for real good closeups.
I'm thinking next week's payday i'll go buy it .
Careful w/ those neighbours dude lol u don't wanna end up in jail because of a few pics But i'll sure appreceate them The one in the shower looks great & its safer.Talking about neighbours: Lmao i have a weedplant (along with my grow)had popped out in the balcony & had been there for like 3 weeks ,I guess it popped from some bird seed coz i never planted lol crazy story! i was afraid that someone might had noticed it but atleast it wasn't that big 3 weeks old maybe (judging from nodes) & it was in a Jasmin plant right next to its stem... When i saw it for the first time :jawdrop: wtf! i even took some pics of her (coz now she's girl) & posted them in my diary lol.

this was my mother run so i only had 3 colas each plant minus the popcorn
so i let them get a lil to long for my light
cause i was waiting for them to show sex
mothers r established and new clones are going in
the size of the bud vastly improved from my first grow
so im happy, im gonna start my perpetual aiming for donky dick colas
i want the bud to b a longer n length so i got something to improve on for the next run

my other plant that still needs more time is bigger
