Hey jackmayoffer, I keep hearing about Aptus, and see some of the larger scalers have moved on to it, have you used them with a true hydo setup, Clay, rockwall, aero, etc etc, If yes how do you find them to Canna's Aqua line if possible to answer, if not, which nutrients, can you compare (and give me feedback ) to, in a pure hydro situation, thanks PS good stuff.

Aptus will not work in Hydro, you cant even keep it in a rez for more than a day before getting PH swings, and bio sludge. Pretty much have to mix and use the same day.

Some FIRE OG,Wifi, White, Chem 4 x Deep Chunk at week 3 in Roots Organic soil and a couple bags of Verma Fire added to each bed. Feading Caps Tea, Aptus once a week giving one room Flora Nove as base the other Bio Bizz.

Maybe I've missed it but what pH do you water with in soil? I know Aptus recommends 6.2 on their charts and I've been sticking with that but its lower than I've pH'd in soil before.
And what EC/ppm?
And do you pH your tea in soil? I think you said you never pH with bennies in coco, wondered if it was different for soil.
Thank in advance.

Hey Jack why do you run your temps higher ( 79-85 day ) is it the cost of cooling or do find the performance is better there? Also where are you keeping your humidity levels at day/night? Do you ever like to run the night temps below the 72-75 range? Your grows are insane is there anywhere your handiwork can be had???? Thank you for sharing these grows with us!!! :ying:

Jack, why do you think your OGs have such foxtailing? Those first pics of the Fire dont look like anything Ive ever seen OG before.

I have been using it in an ebb and grow No noticeable downside except rez stinks a lil....i change res every 5 days...

CO2 is the reason I run higher temps.

Every OG I have ever grown does that when I push them hard,Its always the tops in between the Adjust o wings that's where there is more light then any other area on the canopy Pushing a plant to its limits.. I always know when im on my game and im going to hit 2 plus a light when at week 5 going into week 6 they start to explode, The Calax swell then the tops will foxtail some strains do it more then others.JACK

Jack I know you have experience with Dutch Master 2 part flowering base, pretty sure I read you have used most bases out there. I just switched to DM from GH base and wondering if you had any tips when using the DM base?

Hoping my plants stay as vigorus and healthy now that they are eating DM as they were when using GH

Hey Jack, you know "foxtailing" may be triggered much earlier on in the plants life, and irreversible there afterwards, although some strains may be more prone, it definitely can be avoided.
I am curious what you mean by, "when I push them hard"

Sure.... Pushing a plant for me is 85 to 90 degrese 60 to 65 % Humidity CO2 , COCO , a sealed room feed drain to waist twice a day. And lots of light. that combo will push a plant to its linits in doors we are god in the room.. Not every plant will fox tail some will some wont and its usally the ones getting slammed by two adjusto wings.. There is a difference from fox tailing from stress and fox tailing late in flower when the plant just swells those colas in the pics are the size of my arm....:)

Gotta say, you have the nicest large scale grow I've ever seen!!!:tiphat: Not only that but you are the getting the best results I've seen on a such a large scale. Unbelievable Jack!!

How many guys does it take to maintain and run that size of grow with that kind of perfection?

Jack is right, and if you've never ran 16+ lights in one room with adjust o wings then you wouldn't know. those things just slam down the light and it seems to be exponential in a 16k+ room.. you will burn the tops of your plants if adjust o wings are not 3-4 feet above plants..

3 and 1 part Time for moms and cuttings

85-90 and 60% humidity is what you run your rooms at for vegging?
Veg and first 3 weeks of flower then at the end of week 3 its lowered to 80 deg and 50- 55% co2 1000-1200ppm

LOL Now I get to go mess around with my climate controller...
I'm currently at 950 ppms CO2 and 85 degrees with my dehuey set all the way down so it's about 35-40% humidity. Thanks for the reply Jack! I'd + rep you but its not letting me...
