3 weeks in with Aptus shits blowing up around here..

Just delivered my first dose of Aptus to my girls. I'm just using StartBoost and FaSilitor that i scored as free samples.
I grow in DWC and the first thing i noticed with the FaSilitor is that it really made my rez foam up in the same fashion that it would if i added dish soap. I'm really glad i only used it at half strength (.5ml per gallon), i'm scared full strength would have my buckets foaming over...
Also with the StartBoost, i shook up the bottle prior to opening it and it sprayed everywhere like opening a can of beer after you dropped it. It made a mess and this stuff stinks like pure shit, hope my plants like it...

StartBoost can start to eat itself alive in the bottle after it's been sitting too long. It can start to smell like sulfur but our noses are really sensitive to sulfur and it hasn't necessarily gone bad. I had a bottle that had ballooned out and smelled a bit bad but it still worked. I don't think Aptus is made for DWC, more a DTW sort of thing IMO.
I'm not expecting much, i'm a pretty firm believer that 99% of additives on the market are worthless. There is lots of hype about it and it was free so i figured why not...
Since you also ran it in dwc, did you see any negatives from the Aptus products?
I saw less yield and less flavor. I think most additives are bs also but some are what they are and they have to be beneficial. I think there is a happy medium. Silica is awesome(pro-tekt), roots exceleurator is also awesome. If you use vs dont use either of those youll see things arent as happy.
I used gnatrol after spending $300 on it and it not working. I realized the amount I would have to buy was far to expensive for it to be effective for me.
So I bought yellow sticky's off amazon peeled the tape off one side and layed one on top of each bucket to catch the adults. And bought enough Foliar Pack for two dose of full strength. I made one full strength app on a Friday and the other on Monday. And now I just do weekly 4 gallon brew. And I haven't had a gnat in two months sense I did this. And I had them bad. The new sticky's I have in place are clean.
I figured Id share my experience. Oh and you only have to water the tea lightly not to run off or anything. The larvae only live in the first inch or so.

You're mad I wouldn't let you use my pics to promote you're seed company . I popped your seeds and did not keep any but I'm suppose to let you use other breeders genetics to promote your seed company.. Go hate some where else.
For the non haters ..Stay tuned Myself and Obsoul33t have some amazing stuff in the works we about to drop some insane crosses! As a joint project of some of the most sought after genetics. That's just scratching the surface..
