along with 2+ feet of snow, of course that depends on how the beast tracks
some mountain spots will get 3 feet, quite an adventure
But before I move my car I'll warm up the engine and the transmission by leaving it in Neutral , 'N' moves the internals; I also roll the car back a few feet to round out the flat spot it got from sitting through the cold; I'll put the seat warmers on for me n' Suzi & 10 mins later the car is safe to drive w/o worry about blowing up the engine or tranny. Cold weather isn't too tough on cars, it's the owners that make the difference; regular fluid changes & levels, proper tires, pressures & a spare, working headlights (fucking deer are thick up here, give or take the occasional moose); and you dress for the weather, NOT for the ride.
50 deg F last night at midnight. snowing at dawn today. in 40s today. supposed to be around 15 tomorrow morning, freezing rain. gonna be hell driving home from work...
We have been at -15f - -20f for almost 2 weeks now. With the wind sometimes feeling like -40f. Just got a bunch of snow too, and I guess more is coming.
got down to -30F last night again, was only supposed to be -18F, still about -10 right now & it never got as warm as -2 (for a high) that was predicted for today.......
