Yeah we ended up with 1 inch of slush on pavement, about 3 maybe 4 inches in the grass. Glad though, I didn't want to have to clear snow yet. It will show up sooner or later. We have entered a new pattern!

we had maybe 4-5 inches total before it started melting. Now quite abit of green out. And getting some freezing rain but about outof the mess for now.

In a week, next thur-sat, it's down below 0F again though and in the teens for a couple nights. No big wind like last time.

Wow! Its not going to get that cold here, but we are in the moderate chance for below average early Feb. Hope it snows! Sledding hill was busy today in the heavy wet snow! No need to clear the drive though!

the morning reveals 3 inches of snow/slush mix
and in upstate ny it won't melt off this time of year
though it will be above 32, but slush shoveling sucks regardless

We have really neat geese migration through the area, with a somewhat major creek flowing through the town. A few miles away is the river, so its fun to go down to the park and watch when it gets busy. A lot of geese are residential and hang close, but they still fly in formation. Ducks hang at the creek , geese hang in the ponds.

Was at the park standing by the creek up in the grass field on a dog walk and 2 bald eagles flew threw the park about 100 feet in front of my face maybe 50-100 ft from the ground! It was a great reward.

Slush does suck to shovel! Best to get to it as early as possible, but it was slush from the time it hit on this one. Froze up overnight somewhat, so it won't be quite as wet today. That was a mess yesterday!

Looks like a few chances for light snow, kids were sledding yesterday so everyone is happy. Will be mostly cloudy and 40 Friday, so yay sun~!!! Time to relax, time to party, we didn't get hit by a big storm! North of here is probably pretty bad, all melted here!

We got snow last night and snowing now. Blowing 15-20 mph too and only 20F. I got the slush off with a pusher shovel. It worked pretty good as it all stuck together. Good cardio too. Better than a snowblower that extrudes the slush out the chute.

One good thing about the white curse, gives you a little more light on those dark winter days.

Cold yesterday with blowing wind and snow but up to 36F today. And the below 0F stuff got thrown out the window for next mid week with lows around 10F now.

Weather service is redefining service. FUD.

You're up there near Alaska latitudes! We are seeing sun this morning here too! Pretty cold, 19F, will get clouds filling in and 35-40 mph wind gusts later today, so going out in a bit to let the dogs hunt.

Thankfully we got out of that, I knew it had to be a bad mess in areas in this region hit by different parts of the storm and temperature timeing. Fun stuff, free snowboarding, just jump and slide.
