Thats quite a cold day! We have snow! Not much wind yet, but snow is starting to tint the grass white.

Now its 15 out in the west part of the state. Supposed to drop potentially as much as 20 degrees F in one hour when the front passes.

34 F here at 5 pm... and the wind is increasing 16 mph. Need to check the tires. Fuel is full.

Went for a walk at the park, the wind was cruising through here fast. You are now in the Arctic jet stream. It was wind from the south until this arctic front passed! Door of the truck was frozen, but not as bad as its been before.

I made a mistake and turned the dial from defrost and it wont go back now! I did it like a week or so ago. Whatever I will be having some issues with ice on the wind shield and will have to wipe fog a little maybe.

Need to see if there are any tricks to get this defrost vent to flow. GMC

Storm has really decreased the total snow prediction and radar is looking thin, I think the heavy is pushing east, it was forecast to be focused east of here anyway, so I may not have to push many drives if its only 2! Sounds good to me, I don't want to have to blow snow in this cold of weather. The machines belt can slip in the single digets, at least it did with the old models, got a new honda HS270 to try out!,

I just returned from a 5 km. hike. It was nice to get some fresh air, but it is damn fucking cold out.......

It won't be that cold here tomorrow, but the wind chill will match up. Good I can go for a hike then. I got to get out and get some kind of exercise. Little dogs probably wont want to go.

Snow is all east and north, got 0.5-1.0 inch so far. I'm glad its not snowing, it will snow later in Jan/Feb, I need to relax right now after being on duty all season. May spread out some salt, thats easy.

really nice day today. supposed to turn cold/foul nasty starting with rain after midnight, temps dropping and snow/freezing rain/black ice etc expected by dawn. lovely shit. i gotta pick my oldest up at about 6 am, he's not driven the truck on ice...yet. high tomorrow supposedly in mid-teens. i spent this pretty day splitting some hickory rounds into usable firewood just in case it actually gets that bad. insurance... everyone stay safe!

Cooking an 11 lb pork shoulder roast overnight to help keep the house warm, and that way I have meat if the power goes out. Will be done in about an hour and half. Going to be colder than originally forecast today. High is -3F with wind chill as low as -38F.

Wind chill hourly foreceast is at -30F and below all day! Wind gust up to 44 all day! Thankfully we got very little snow, only about 1-2 inches from what I can tell! Good, need to relax. May have a couple drives to push for people who want to cut down the ice but that will be managable tomorrow.

Still going to be cold tomorrow, high of 11 F and windy up to 38 mph and wind chill down to -26 and as warm as -10 during the day.

May want to open your car door before it freezes shut too bad. Get out there and scrape it down to cut down on the ice before it all freezes up. Sometimes when it flash freezes after rain I can not get my truck door open, it takes a while and a lot of force.

had some decent snow cover which isn't a given anymore
ends up as a ice layer over snow, very hard on the wild life

Yeah I saw you guys are good on moisture in most areas, but there is some spots of drought up there I guess.

That can be tough when the ice gets layered, if you're a small critter, you can walk on top of it though!

Saw a squirrel out a minute ago eating corn and peanuts I set out. He kept moving around and shaking off the cold. Getting spells of howling wind here today!
