HPS and CLF lamps of identical power, allocate about identical quantity of heat
Only luminescent lamps are better cooled from for the big surface, and it is necessary to blow in HPS lamps
If it is interesting to you how to instal a HPS lamp in boxing I will draw the scheme.

I've had 400w of CFLs no more than 3 inches above my plants for nearly 5 weeks now. No cool tubes, just a small fan aimed directly beneath the bulbs. If that can be had with HPS, let us know who makes them so I can get one!

Looks like a good grow m8.

Alright guys, last post in this thread :)
I must admit that I have a hard time feeling the difference in harvest-time. To me the buds from the 9weeks plant gives me the same effect as the 11week plant. I find that a little weird, but I might not have the neccesary smoking experience to notice the small differences. Letting them go to 11 weeks improves yield though.

i've noticed that with sativa-dom genes too. Once they get around to their final weeks, the chemical maturation seems to slow down and homogenize. Taste seems to become more complex though and resin production definitely went up in the last two weeks but i did alot of crucifixion and girdling them so that might have had something to do with it. i think you really have to let a sativa go over six weeks past the peak window of ripeness to notice a stonier effect. It's hard to damper the head high on a pure strain.

Anyone with more experience want to weigh in on this one?
