Im doing a lot of thinking regarding my next grow at the moment.

It's probably gonna be a pure sativa grow, most likely 12/12 from seed.

I'd really like to scrog those strecthy sativas, but I'm hesitating a little, since its gonna be difficult to water the 3 pots at the back. Especially since the net is going to be only 6 inches above the pots.

But I still haven't decided what kind of grow containers I'll use.

My dream is a 40 liter soilbed with the scrog screen attached so I can lift everything out in a single swipe

Any tips and comments regarding growing and managing pure sativas are very welcome

Glad you ask

Its a mix which I came to know it our awsome Organic subforum

Medium
2 parts unfertilized peat moss
2 parts Perlite
1 part Champost (heattreated mushroom compost)

For every 4 liters of soilmix (roughly 1 gallon) I add:
1 tbsp bloodmeal (N)
2 tbsp bonemeal (P)
1 tbsp kelpmeal (K)
2 tbsp basalt meal (a kind of rock) (micros and other good stuff)
2 tbsp dolomite lime (cal+mag+ph)

I water with bubbled water (left in a bucket for 24 hours minimum with an airstone running) and occasionaly add some seaweed extract. I bubble the water to get rid of chlorine which kills the lovely bacteria that my plants love so much

I never think about ph thanks to the dolomite lime.

Just a little bit yesterday.

Its bud off of the one that smelled really weird, almost bad

The smoke though, is very nice. The taste is more spicy than lemon and more open and fresh than I first would have guessed. The effect is very pleasant. Although I wanted to be sure not to smoke too much and only pinched a little off one bud I got more stoned than I wanted. This stuff is potent! More potent than anything I have previously grown. It's a sure Sativa/Indica hybrid. A mellow bodystone with the gentle tapping and quantumleaps of thought that I feel when smoking Sativas. I like it!

When I try it out for real (in a regular joint on my joint tip tube), I'll get back with more impressions

nice grow man, can I get some more info on the blue compact flouro you used flor veg? It's on the first page. Brand or specs?

I need to light a veg cab. 3 of these would be easier than what I was planning. Anyone know if its possible to wire 6 sockets for 6 cfl's to one plug?

Its a regular 125W selfballasted CFL very similar to the Envirolites. I dont know the brand since it doesn't say on the bulb. I bought it second hand very cheap.

My flowering bulbs (2700 K) are Eco Lights (check on ebay) which run a lot cooler than Envirolites imo. I would suppose that the 6400K (white/blue) Eco Light bulbs run equally cool. They're shorter than the Envirolites too. And a lot cheaper.

I never pluck off fan leaves and its my first run in this soil mix so please forgive the bottom leaves.

If I was gonna grow this wonderful strain again, I'd veg for as long as needed to be able to top them above 2. set of sideshoots. 4 main colas off each plant would be absolutely wicked!!!

Just had an idea, enjoying the stone of the one harvested at 9 weeks while cooking;

It could be crossed with a fast flowering Kali Mist pheno or a nice Apollo 11...

Doesn't seem as it would bring down the heavy LS x GG yieldwise and could bring a more clear feeling of the bodystone of the GG
