What kind of fan is it. Like model an all because I plan on getting me a fan for my 250watt grow. If you don't mind.

I'm sorry asking all these questions but is there a model number on it that you can translate to English? So I can find a US website that might have these fans.
If you don't want to thats cool I'll try to find out on my own.

Hey dude.
Does your fan make fuzzingnoise "srrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" when you turn power lower on that dimmer? Mine does, it`s pretty anoing. And if i put the power up then it sounds like srrrr-noise disappears, but then the air moving sound sets in.
:badday:

I looked that picture that posted:

There goes that yellow line, is it a cable? Did you connect all those 3 cablelines?

Yo Matti,

I've heard others talk about an unacceptable humming, but I dont get that from mine. Ofcourse, the "melody" or tone of the fan changes when throttled down, but I dont feel it gets louder or more annoying - on the contrary, it gets more deep and moves further back in the general noisefield of the room (street, super silent computer on desk, kid, etc).

What kind of dimmer are you using? If its a light dimmer, thats probabaly your problem. I have no personal experience to back it up with, but I've heard so much bad about them. They dont have enough amps or something.

The yellow line is ground a not necessarily needed. I dont have it.

Hope it helps :D

Just to show you guys. Bonsai bagseed mum under 14 watts of daylight CFL and ghetto computer desktop cabinet.

Here's a little info on my next grow.

First of all Im downsizing to 110 watts. The a little less than half of what I use now. The reason? Im producing more than me and my friends are smoking, so why spend money growing stuff that I loose interest in. I really like to smoke different stuff, so I want a fast cycle anyways. With this move my grow will be rediculously cheap on a yearly basis compaired to what I get.

Anyways, the 110 watts are coming from Compact T5s. I dont know their totally accurate name, but people usually call them compact tubes, PLLs or compact flouros. If you make a lot of money on some fine reflectors and 2100K bulbs you call them Duo Flours. 2 x 55W 3000K Phillips tubes each under seperate reflectors.

I'll be growing 4 different pure Sativas 12/12 from seed. I want one female from each, so Im thinking about germing 4 seeds from each strain. What do you guys think?

Each female individually scrogged, so that I can harvest at different times. No topping. Im thinking alot about transplant strategy (if thats not too seriousminded a word :D) I'll start them out in 0.3 l cups, then on to 1.7 liter. After that it's either 3.5 liters or 6.5 liters for the rest of their lives.

Im using hard organic energy. Blood, bone and kelp, dolomite lime and a little more at 1/3rd recommended strength as they are Sativas :)

What happens if I go straight from 0.3 liters to 6 liters? They might sex in the first cup before they need the first transplant. Then I'd have my 4 females already. Will the plants eat the soil too fast if set loose in 6 liters? Should they be bounded on their roots as motaco puts it in the Sativa Grow Thread? (check that thread out!)

I'm also changing charcoal in my filter. It doesn't zap smell as it used to.

I'll germ the seeds when I get all the new stuff.

Here's some pics.

Alright guys, last post in this thread :)

Judging by the buds I got 3 different phenos from the LS x GG seeds. Very different looking, smelling and tasting. The growth pattern of the three phenos where VERY similar though.

I must admit that I have a hard time feeling the difference in harvest-time. To me the buds from the 9weeks plant gives me the same effect as the 11week plant. I find that a little weird, but I might not have the neccesary smoking experience to notice the small differences. Letting them go to 11 weeks improves yield though.

To all hybrid-lovers... These geenes are NICE!

Heavy yield, tasty smoke, Sativa-feeling-goodness and Indica bodystone. Oh - did I mention YIELD? Under HPS.... oh la la ... I can only imagine :D

Once again, thank you very much
breedbrad - for making these beautiful plants possible!
Maffe - for acting as a generous middleman :canabis:
esbe - for caring through sharing :friends:
