Banks are determining under their own ESG policies that such businesses no longer meet the risk profiles the banks wish to keep on their books.

House Committees Produce 78-Page Report on DOJ’s ‘Deviations’ in Hunter Biden Probe​

The House Judiciary, Ways and Means, and Oversight Committees jointly released an interim 78-page staff report on Tuesday about the Justice Department’s (DOJ) “deviations” in the five-year investigation into Hunter Biden, describing political interference in the probe.
The report will be reviewed by lawmakers, who are likely to vote upon a formalized impeachment inquiry in preparation for potentially pursuing articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden.
The report outlines testimony from several DOJ officials and IRS whistleblowers. IRS agents alleged in April that Biden administration political appointees politically interfered with the DOJ’s probe, though several officials appointed by Biden deny the claims.
The report outlines several key findings by the committees:

1. The Justice Department twice prevented United States Attorney David Weiss from bringing stronger charges against Hunter Biden.
2. Attorney General Merrick Garland refused to name a special counsel in the tax investigation, which could have provided a degree of separation between Joe Biden and his Justice Department.
3. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf refused to allow investigators to ask about Joe Biden being “the big guy.”
4. Wolf stopped questioning about “the big guy” to limit where the investigation could go despite evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement.
5. Wolf cautioned the investigation team from searching Joe Biden’s guest house in Delaware for evidence against Hunter Biden because of “optics.”
6. Hunter Biden demanded in 2017 to be paid by Chinese Communist Party-linked Chinese businessman Raymond Zhao while Joe Biden was “sitting” next to him in a room.
7. Investigators wanted to obtain the location data to confirm Joe Biden was in the room, but there is no confidence the FBI obtained that data.
8. Hunter Biden deducted payments to prostitutes and sex clubs from his taxes.
9. The investigation into Hunter Biden began as an “offshoot” of inquiry into a foreign adult platform.

“Even still, despite these troubling findings, there is more information that the Justice Department is keeping from the Committees,” the committees wrote:

The Justice Department has still not fully complied with requests for relevant documents, and it has impeded the Committees’ investigation by baselessly preventing two Tax Division officials—Senior Litigation Counsel Mark Daly and Trial Attorney Jack Morgan—from testifying, despite subpoenas compelling their testimony. These documents and this testimony are necessary for the Committees to complete our inquiry.

“The Committees will continue to gather evidence to determine whether sufficient grounds exist to draft articles of impeachment against President Biden for consideration by the full House of Representatives,” they stated.

Biden has consistently denied he has no knowledge of Hunter’s business dealings. This provides even more proof of his outrageous lies.


Committee Chairman Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) notes Scherwin was deeply embedded in the Biden Crime Family, even helping the White House spin Hunter’s ties to Burisma.

As his business partner, Schwerin was involved in the Biden family affairs & even gave the White House talking points about Hunter Biden’s ties to Burisma.

"$24 Million From Foreign Nationals": House GOP Formalizes Biden Impeachment Inquiry, Releases Resolution Ahead Of Planned Vote​

Ahead of next week's vote to formally move forward with the Biden impeachment inquiry, Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) has released a 14-page resolution that would authorize the investigation.

"Directing certain committees to continue their ongoing investigations as part of the existing House of Representatives inquiry into whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach Joseph Biden, President of the United States of America, and for other purposes," reads the resolution, which is set for markup on Tuesday, Dec. 12, putting it on course for a Wednesday vote.
"It’s time for the House to take the next step in the Biden impeachment investigation and adopt an impeachment inquiry resolution. The White House and multiple witnesses have repeatedly refused to cooperate with the investigation and have rejected subpoenas. Despite this refusal, the investigation has uncovered alarming details that demand further scrutiny," said Armstrong in a statement.
"The Biden family and associates received more than $24 million from foreign nationals. Joe Biden received $200,000 from his brother, James Biden, the same day James received a $200,000 loan from a failing rural hospital operator. Joe Biden also received $40,000 in laundered Chinese money from his brother and sister-in-law. It’s become clear that the Biden family sold influence around the world using Joe Biden’s name as the product. An investigation in any jurisdiction around the country would move forward if it had these facts. A vote on an impeachment inquiry puts the House in the best position to prevail in court and uncover the truth," Armstrong continued.
The White House has argued that the GOP's ongoing impeachment inquiry is unconstitutional because it hasn't been formalized with said vote - an assessment that House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan vehemently disagreed with.

"Constitutionally, it’s not required. Speaker said we’re [in] an impeachment inquiry, [then] we’re in an impeachment inquiry," said Jordan. "But if you have a vote of the full House of Representatives and the majority say we’re in that official status as part of our overall oversight work or constitutional oversight duty that we have, it just helps us in court."

In anticipation of that vote, Democrats and the White House in recent days pointed to previous statements from swing-seat Republicans and moderates casting doubt on whether impeachment is warranted.
They have also pointed to cries from Republicans when Trump’s impeachment began without taking a formal vote.
But many of those same GOP members say that taking the step to authorize an inquiry is a much different question than a vote on actual impeachment articles.
