The first step is to completely stop nominating politicians. Thats what made trump so appealing

Nominate a plumber, a carpenter, or a scientist like modest mustard

Except he is a billionaire that doesn't even pay his own bills. He is as far from one of us as possible. I think we should elect farmers, doctors and scientists. People capable of taking care of others.

Information (and disinformation) overload is paralyzing sanity in too many cases..

And anyone who thinks the US and Israel aren't master propagandists with a well-funded spin machine hasn't been paying attention.

For governments (or candidates) to lie to their people/constituents, whether by omission or directly, -ought- to be a serious felony.

Of course, now we have the concept of presidential immunity from a stacked SCOTUS to contend with, too.

And I think it's OK to hate some things. Mass murderers, rapists, liars, thieves, manipulators, and some others, too.

I'm wagering that if I stopped watching accurate honest media daily, I could cut back on my daily dosage of Omeprazole and my bleeding acute gastritis would behave better. Instead, I antagonize it and put Tapatio Sauce on goddamned near everything I eat... just to show it who's boss!! :)

A tariff is what will now see most Americans paying 20% more for the same poorly manufactured goods from China that they are addicted to since corporate America was permitted to out-source manufacturing jobs in the US to Asia over the last 4+ decades.

Apparently Trump and others fail to realize that if there's few domestically manufactured substitutes for the goods being tariffed, then people will, at least for now, simply pay more for the same old shit.

I wonder if he will also tariff wholesale stuff going to American companies which they 'assemble' in America and retail as 'made' in America. Some stuff from China is actually very high quality (I used to import some). What about all the generic drugs coming from China, which are affordable to America's working class poor.

His stated goal is to abolish the irs and income tax, replacing the revenue with tariffs. This will essentially be a usage tax that is the same for everyone that buys stuff.

Whether this gets done I have no idea.

will you take accountability when trump takes a big dump on america again?
I’m curious as to what this big dump was.

For me it was cash. 2018 and 2019 were my best years financially.

Liking or disliking him personally has nothing to do with my money.

My experience with Chinese-made or Chinese-assembled goods has been that if the parent company contracting with Chinese companies has paid what are often the additional fees for quality control oversight, then the products are typically first rate. The corps that DON'T pay such fees for quality control get what they get.

I have an older Nikon 12x42 binocular here, as well as a rifle scope. both are excellent quality. Nikon didn't skimp in their contracting.

Much of the plastic consumer trash sold at Walmart and the box stores frequently doesn't meet those criteria.

Good question re. the tariffs and how far they're going to reach. Bearing in mind that Trump's a pro-Wall St. corporatist like the majority of the rest of the upper echelon of stuffed shirts in politics.

No doubt with "A chicken in every pot." or "Some chicken for every pot head" or something like that. :)
