The magats are working overtime spreading misinformation trying to discredit the election. trump better be careful. The Supreme Court might have ruled that Presidents have immunity but he's not the President and can be prosecuted for anything he does. If he incites domestic terrorists like he did in 2020 he risks exposure to criminal charges.

Ive blocked at least 80 political numbers this cycle. The amount of text adds in BS. I hate it.

I can't watch television. Every add is a political ad for two House races. We don't get any Presidential ad's here as Oregon is going for Harris no questions asked but we have a couple very important House races in Oregon and southwest Washington. So far though it looks like the Democrats are spending the most money and it's looking like both Democrat candidates are going to win. The Republicans are not spending as much because it's all going to trump. And even then that money is disappearing into a black hole called donald trumps pockets and speaking fees for melania trump at various events despite the fact that she has nothing intelligent to say.

I haven't blocked any yet, but continue to delete them daily without reading them.

Robert Reich texted daily, sometimes multiple times per day, to the point I mistakenly assumed he wished to be a pen pal, and as is proven by some of my posts, my letters can at times be QUITE lengthy.

Then there's the more contentious races, such as the lunatic Nick Begich, versus the rubber-stamper for Israeli war money, Mary Peltola in the US House, and some State and local races, wherein the various broadcasters' contractual obligations via ads sold in advance often has them literally running the same ads 4 x's in a row..

And other than for amping up the partially sub-conscious impact of mere name recognition, I doubt it's achieving the desired goals.

In fact, I can see the whole name recognition thing backfiring, when the average voter sees someone on their ballot, and says in irate tone to themselves from within the voting booth, "That's the SOB who's been screwing up my news and television shows with what are often barely half-truthful, obnoxious advertisements."
