yet the measure of American strength, the dollar, remains high
country is in political chaos, the world too
very contradictory, the waters grow more uncharted everyday

i have never been a fan of (nor was influenced by) any endorsement by any person about politics. now, if Willie & Snoop tell me there is a new strain of weed i might like, i'd prob give that a shot. i'm not totally oblivious to persuasion, ya know...:smoke:

A lot of the international community are starting to hedge their bets and quietly building up trade deals with China too. The political instability within the us is a pretty big turn off for doing business with them, I predict in the not too distant future international business deals will be performed in Chinese Yuen, not US dollars. I could see a Trump presidency moving this trend forward with dramatic pace, but the democrats have not been a lot better from an international perspective. All superpowers have crumbled under their own hubris throughout history, seems like we’re living through the US version of that, but this round we all have world destroying nukes, kinda of scary if you think too much into it..

I make my decisions on who to vote for based off of who has the best attack ads two weeks from the election. The nastier the better. If they aren't willing to get their hands dirty they don't deserve to win.

yep, the republican party is the far-right party and the democratic party is the new moderate right.

we desperately need to stop the super pacs and billionaires from funding candidates.

perhaps this would allow a few regular people to get elected. there is something inherently wrong with being a "career" politician.

a career politician is not guided by his or her moral code but rather some idealized image of what the public expects. they are too slick, too aware of the microphone and cameras. so careful that what they say doesn't damage their career.

shapeshifting chameleons morphing into whatever they think the public wants at the moment.

and then they want credibility!

liars and whores, all of them!
