Lots of people in Europe wish they had a Muslim ban around now.

Muslim isn’t a race. It’s a book people follow. Sometimes into buildings with planes.

Not all Muslims are radicalized. But all jihadist blowing themselves up, or flying into buildings are.

If one out of every 10,000 bottles of water was poison that would kill you, would you still drink bottled water?

seems bad

When you start locking people up for opinions this isn't the USA anymore. I have no bad feelings about Snoopdog. He was one Lucky SOB not getting convicted. It sure isn't reason for me to hate him. He has access to the best weed anywhere. But Trump there's literally hundreds of reasons to hate that SOB.

That McDonald's stunt was 100% staged. They closed the restaurant and basically had actors going through the drive through.

It pretty pathetic the way trump goes on and on about Harris working at McDonald's. Lots of people worked at McDonalds. Jeff Bezos, Jay Leno, Harris's husband worked at McDonald's. Hell I worked at McDonalds and if I had to prove it today I would not be able to. They don't have records going back that far and it was pre-computer days so any paper records would have been destroyed years ago.

trump is a petty old man who's losing his marbles. The only people he's fooling with his silly stunt of scooping some fries are his hard core cult members. Most people with any intelligence see it for the ridiculously idiotic stunt it is. I can guarantee that trump would never be able to perform the position of fries if the restaurant was actually open and the work wasn't actually being done by actual employees except for a couple photo shots of trump pretending to be working.

I'm not trying to defend Ancient Orange. But you have to be pretty niave to think that a Presidential nominee who has already had 2 attempts on his life would be allowed to meet randos at a drive through. Of course it was staged. And everybody involved went through a background check beforehand.

Not locking up, keeping out. Let in loads of people that want to integrate into American society. Keep out those who want to bring the third world with them.

Defending and understanding are two different things. She's an ambitious woman.

It doesn't matter what kind of forum. I've already stated I didn't agree with cannabis prosecutions for personal use. Many of her prosecutions were for high level drug trafficking that involved violence, gangs, and cartels.

Some of you like to jump from A-Z and ignore anything in between. Letting you're ideology dictate your responses rather than pausing to evaluate the practically and realities is an easy way to skip critical thinking.

If I had higher political goals and I was a prosecutor I would lock up everyone I could to build a successful record of prosecutions. Democrats in California elected Harris as a US Senator knowing very well who she locked up. I don't live in California but the majority of voters are Democrats and she won her Senate race easily.

Stop grabbing at straws.
Well you already sound like a cop so your part way there… ;)

i turned 21 in prison for weed so you all can imagine how i feel about people being prosecuted for it.

trump asked for a day of violence against shoplifters. how about a day of violence against billionaires who commit fraud? which group is doing more damage to our society? elon musk buying votes! every fat, rich, mutherfucker out there trying to buy votes for their own selfish interests.

nothing that kamala harris has done in her career comes close to the massive crimes of fraud committed by one donald trump.

on another note, in israel, the far right is demonstrating to force all palestinians out of gaza altogether and build new israeli settlements there. as if this is a new idea. they are saying it's a "security" move. nuttyyahoo is acting surprised and saying that's not his intention. meanwhile making the place unfit for human habitation as fast as he can.

there have been no food shipments allowed into northern gaza in the month of october.

remember the ben gurion canal? this shows the proposed route the world sees but the easiest route goes right through northern gaza. it's lower and would be much easier to dig and engineer. i'm sure this has nothing to do with nuttyyahoo's intentions.

in southern lebanon, 1 million have been displaced from their homes by the israeli army. this is 1/5 of the entire population of lebanon. another massive humanitarian crises in the making.

which party is more likely to cut aid to israel? but, we won't hear anything about it until after this election.

it would be political suicide to say anything negative about israel before the election.

the world is surely a fucked up place right now. why can't people treat one another with kindness and compassion?

I couldn't have put it better if i tried.
The fact someone would reference him for voting shows just how ass backwards this country has become

I don't understand how anyone could have any respect for that scumbag.

The fact that he smokes pot means nothing. I'm not going to get into his history, the things he's done, the people he's associated with, and the crimes he might have gotten away with.

All I can say is that I have absolutely no respect for him.

How do I sound like a cop? And by the way I have a friend that's a cop. Great guy. Would risk his life to save a friend.

How does being a cop make someone bad?
It doesn’t, I’m just giving you shit. Most cops are fine, it’s just the ones that aren’t good that ruin the reputation. I even used to regularly drink with a retired cop when I still drank, he was a good dude and actually very pro-cannabis. I think it would be hard to consistently see only the worst aspects of humanity and keep a level head about it. As a younger man I definitely had authority issues but as I mature I don’t really hold most of those same opinions, cannabis persecution aside. Cops here in NZ have a much different style than those I had know in the US as well, less moustaches and not such a macho bravado. The Christchurch shooter here was actually taken down by two cops without either firing a shot, I think there’s something to be said for that.

When they routinely fail to arrest and charge their colleagues who frequently file false affidavits in arrest and search warrants hearings and incident reports, or when they 'manufacture' or 'fabricate' probable cause, or when they commit perjury from the stand, as those offenses are not only rampant, but where I live, they are also all felonies (B-felonies, to be specific), then they're more than 'just a few bad apples.'

Until they take significant action on their corrupt peers, every cop who's aware of those behaviors as committed by their colleagues and tolerates it or covers it up and/or fails to file charges and reports against their corrupt fellow officers, is complicit in violating others' civil rights, their oaths of office, and thereby, they are felons themselves.

Meaning there's a WHOLE LOT of cops who are or should be convicted felons.
