Just bullshitting buddy but no socialism please
"Seagal, who became a Russian citizen in 2016, is a seventh-dan black belt in aikido, as well as being the chief instructor within the Russian Federation of this martial art since 2018. "The young people I saw today have a very big potential. We need to open more such centres to develop that potential.Mar 20, 2023"

"Ultimately, his biggest downfall took place due to acting. Getting employed became a tough task, not only due to actors speaking out against his authoritarian directing style, but also because of his reputation for sexual misconduct and assault.Jan 10, 2023"

what a jerk! he did get an advanced belt in aklido as a fit young man, but now he's just a master of bullshido!

the weekend, child labor laws, 8 hour workday, countless labor and social advances have come at the cost of human lives and bloodshed. i don't care about winning debates or converting people. if you are against providing health care to all people or housing all people you are simply a bad human being.
can we be for "providing health care to all people or housing all people" without violence? maybe if we tried a little harder to convince people to do the right thing we could avoid violence?

don't you think a person on the left who proposes violence is just as bad as a person on the right who proposes violence? we have brains, some more some less, and we should use them before we go to violence.

When a multi billion dollar industry decides to not insure someone due to pre-existing conditions and that person dies from lack of care or unable to afford treatment, that's state sanctioned violence and no one bats an eye. Once someone wants to flip the script and start guillotining some CEO's it's all "whoa man chill out violence never solved anything". If all other avenues to change are blocked, and literally controlled by the opposition, people are gonna look to alternative measures.

so if a majority of voters already agree on universal health care, who do i have to "convince" to get this enacted?
Same thing with marijuana legalization, majority want it, but they refuse to let us have it. Even a lot of the legal states have ridiculous rules. It's legal, if I grow it and it tests safe, I should be able to sell it.

you can start by eliminating donald trump from the playing field. and i mean by voting not assassination. obama was on the way to it but got compromised in congress. it takes time and effort to effect long-term change.

there are major but not insurmountable obstacles. try harder! maybe it's easier for some people to just shoot people instead of working hard for what they believe in, but, violent actions beget violent reactions.

we need long term solutions and you won't get them with violence!

the moral dilemma is that those "alternative" measures make you turn into what you despise.

There are some really silly rules out there. I think the rule in Colorado is that it has to be sold within a 6 month window after harvest

Which works well for me cause they just send it down south to sell :smoke:

an anthem for the non-voter!

My guy, the corruption is bi-partisan.

obama was on the way to it but got compromised in congress. it takes time and effort to effect long-term change.
Obamacare is a government mandate that forced people to buy a shitty product from a shitty industry that shouldn't exist.
there are major but not insurmountable obstacles. try harder!
Oligarchs control the means of production, they have all the money, they own the government, they own the police, fascism at the doorstep as things continue to get worse for everyday people.... But.. try harder! Lol

maybe it's easier for some people to just shoot people instead of working hard for what they believe in, but, violent actions beget violent reactions.
An individual cannot simply work hard to reverse systemic wide corruption or vote it out of power lol. It needs to be pulled out by the roots. What's that Jefferson quote lol the tree of liberty needs fresh patriots blood from time to time lol
we need long term solutions and you won't get them with violence!
At this point in time it seems more likely to bring change than electoralism lol

One thing that could quickly step on the way would be mandating non-profit health insurance corporations and hospitals. Med school should be free for those maintaining a high scholastic and practical ability.

a trolley car heads speeding towards 5 people who have been tied to the track. they represent the average person who is sick and has no health care with pre existing conditions & medical debt. the trolley can be diverted to the track of the billionaire who arbitrarily decided who gets coverage and who doesn't. do you let the trolley run over the 5 people or do you divert it and let it run over the person who created this situation in the first place?

I escape from the incorrect framing and stop the train.

whats incorrect about the framing? there are people making a shit load of money to NOT insure people, which leads to many of those people dying from preventable issues. these same people buy off politicians and our government to make sure they keep making money off people's health and deaths. that's an example of state sanctioned violence.

The choice isn’t killing one or the other. Violence is the strongest expression of a weak mind.
