I've had variegated portions of leaves before, even to the point half the leaf (finger?) was variegated (lengthwise) and the other half colored normal.
This was on Pakistan Chitral Kush seedlings.
Very few seedlings had this and only a couple leaves.
Next generation of PCK x PCK seeds showed the same thing.
Makes me think it is either genetic (most likely) or virus passed thru seeds (in my case).
Never caused any issues, plants grew normal.

Kush trait?

Kush trait?

Read somewhere that this was a Kush trait. I too thought mosaic.

Did you get someone to test for virus? Tested positive?

More so of a Chem line thing. I've heard of other members doing cal/mag foliars to clear it up. Apparently Sour Dubb is another one that is bad to do this. :2cents:

The Chem line predates Kushes as we know them and are rumored to be the parents of the original OG Kush. Chems date back to 1991 where as original OG Kush was '96.

Sour Dubb is a cross of Sour Diesel x Sour Bubble (DMT pheno I think)

And your Calmag treatment.... have you see that work yourself?

I don't personally have experience with a variegated strain yet. I can only speak of what other members on here have spoken of with those strains. I recently acquired Sour Dubb so I will know how to handle that if/when it pops up.

Testing for virus is a completely different ballgame that testing leaf or soil analysis.

You will have to find someone locally at a good University or a specialized lab.

Sorry, I meant genetic or virus in my case never confirmed.
My wife used to work for an agricultural seed company, she would go to UC Davis and they would use an electron microscope to look for the Mosaic virus in lettuce seeds.

I sure wouldn't panic, I don't even know if cannabis can get mosaic.
When I had the variegated patches on a few leaves it never spread and never effected the plant in any negative way. I think it is a genetic mutation in some strains, just like BlueBerry from DJ Short has its twisted leaves.

Do a search on the interweb for "variegated leaves on cannabis".

Good news gang. I am officially Clean Green Certified. About to get rid of some of my dep flowers, and I am excited to see if I get a bump in price/demand due to the Clean Green Cert. So far, working with these guys have been a joy. If anybody is on the fence on whether or not this seems like a legit program, I say take the leap, these guys are legit. It did cost me around 3200, but I should get an extra 100$ a pound from most dispensaries.
