I am doing a slew of them next season but we are for sure establishing a group of BC God again from regular seed to do some breeding, an order from a Canadian source (I can PM you about that), we are pollinating for Snow Ryder X BC Blueberry = Blue Genes #1, Onyx X Cold Creek Kush (named later), BC Blueberry X Short Stuff #1=Blue Gene Shorts....and a deep and somewhat lengthy parentage for next season...we missed the window for pollinating NL .
Am thinking 10 gallon pots for island and using some stealth untapped spots even further from mankind
Been rainy so it will be iffy on harvesting that Snowryder but it has the best top cola of the season so far....the girth is like a pair of heavy socks...LOL suppose I CAN measure it
So far....BC God in the short Christmas tree shape is perfect for stealthy spots and the end result works for me...Northern Lights auto has more of a couch lock which is surprising for an auto....it was a freebie seed but pushes my thoughts to establishing a family of those (Northern Lights) that bears seed and harvests much heavier.
The current auto (Snowryder) exhibits great potential especially in the harvest potential and she rates a 9 or higher on the "pretty top" category. We hope pollination has taken place from the BC Blueberry. This "nice top" Snowryder will be the first harvest from a riverside bank, our other harvests; BC God, Onyx and Northern Lights have come from the "island". I have some more pics if I can get them to a thumb drive.
Harvested Snowryder yesterday and trimmed it this morning, please post if you read this and find it entertaining otherwise I'll find something else to do...LOL.
Two days of dry weather will have us peeking in on the island herd, that group is getting thinned out but the male and female (close enough I think) shall be breeding soon.
The bank still holds some surprises although I learned that they did not all get ideal light...that and the planting method for next season is changed up for a better harvest next season, in addition I am recruiting some Mango and a new line of Canadian autos...honk honk
last harvested plant looked nice, about how much dry are you yielding on these autos?
oz. or so? what Canadian autos do you have planned for next yr?
best of luck with the rest of the harvest.
Cheers GG
