The first time i traveld to a grow site to help out some friends was one crazy experience,first of all the name of the place i was going to was called murder mountain,,google it its a real place,your probably thinking what kind of an idiot goes to a place called murder mountain,apparently this idiot,,this was a 14 hour drive from my city,once we arrive to this town,,i had to duck down,not because of the grow,but because i have a nice tan,,and yes in this day and age,2014,at the time,rascisim is alive and well,once we pass through the town,we arrive at the bottom of the mountain,its 40 min to the top by vehicle,,keep in mind that im in a place that frowns upon any tan,brown,ect..and im now at the bottom of a place called murder mountain,,the entire time the team im with is stoned without a care in the world,lol,now,were all strapped,,especially me,i was not going to a place called murder mountain without my peace keeper,,we arrive to the top ,theirs some more people ,rvs,genarators.fencing,ect,its night time now and suddenly everybody starts shooting their weapons in the air,like the wild west,and im thinking to myself ,what the fuck am i doing here,im just a single dad helping out a few friends,,lol,,the town below me wants to hang me,and everbody up here is trigger happy,,were talking mac,30,s,,with extended clips,,in a weird kind of sick way,i realized i may be with the very people who gave this mountain its nick name,and felt more safe,we were the terror on murder mountain,i never would have imagined in a million years i would be in a place called murder mountain,surrounded by the best GROWERs in the world,some guys were featured in growing magazine s in the 70s and 80s,i made 1,500,for 8 days,plus plent of smoke,,the experience was pricless, so,i know Thats not the experience your looking for,lol,,just know cannabis will take you places you never knew existed,,mentally and physiclay,good,,and Bad,,so be carefull out there,,HAPPY GROWING..

that was an interesting post, never been to any big grows, but this area is known for years of small local grows...I am hoping to establish an early short landrace...this year the varieties are all over the place and I am in learning mode. So far NO males, which for MY stash is good but I wanted to do some crosses, it might not be this year...oh well, have a good seedbank ready for next season and will be selecting varieties that do well here for another round...I can see now that I could get 2-3 harvests out of Snowryder which is very good news or 1 large crop of them in and out quick...another idea, plus I never was able to get stuff planted in the areas I planned out from post #1

This year im GROWING one of my white widow males,,, i plan on pollinating only one spear,,,on one of SOMAS females by carefully spreading the polline with a q tip,,all over the females, and smoking the rest,,try it,,no sense in letting an entire season go by with out trying it.,right,,HAPPY GROWING..
