Thanks for that, nice to hear your take on the Malawi.
For me, it produced a very active head but an overall tranquilizing effect, and there was no "kindness" factor, almost something a little evil about it.

On the flip side, instead of visiting your new thread I leafed thru this one yesterday trying to find further mention of your Stardawg cut.
I'm guessing it isn't one of the "known" U.S. cuts but something a friend found when he ran a pk.
I ran the 'Corey' cut and liked it enough to throw some pollen on it.
I just don't think Chemdog and all it's variants are 100% indica.
Always figured it was just a one in a million Skunk #1, but that's for another thread and there's plenty of those!

Thanks & cheers! :tiphat:

Yes, the Stardawg I grew is not one of the famous cuts. It's very nice nevertheless, and to me it looks, smells and smokes as a pure Afghan indica, only the effect is more stimulating than expected, maybe mostly due to the earlier harvest.

As for the lack of "kindness" in Malawi, unfortunately Zamaldelica is also not kind, I've tried a spectacularly "evil" pheno, most are not, but they are not happy weed either. The Zamalidelica pheno in this thread is among the most postive Zamaldelicas, yet it's just emotionally neutral - not happy, but not cold either, it enhances your current state of mind.
I think all strong south African weed is like that - cold-blooded adrenaline, and Thai strains being similar, just more clean. The "kind" effect is in the American (Mexican, Colombian, Carribean) sativas.

But these adrenaline strains are very functional and motivating if smoked in moderation. Not mentioning that they can be really "trippy" and strong. If Zamaldelica was also "kind", it would be a holy grail for sure :) The ultimate sativa, harvested in October.
