Crazy stuff medmaker, really like your idea of vert/horizontal growing with leds, one day i can hopefully improve my grow room like that as well. Good luck and thanks for sharing. One more thing, i am gonna follow your experience and scratch the dark period before harvest so i can start my new cycle straight after harvest, cheers!

Man these Casey's Cousin x Sour Diesel IBL from Poison Genetics are fucking HUGE!!!!
Video update once done with the edits ( finally got a decent video editing program, man this shit is expensive... )

next update in my arsenal is a new hd camera, well actually I am picking up two of them if all works out ( so I can get multiple angle views of everything I am reviewing ).

The gopros I was working with just are not good for close up shots, they don't zoom etc BUT great for skydiving or kayaking lol.

If anyone has thoughts on decent hd cameras that have a wireless remote and waterproof capable let me know. Price isn't important but in the same breath it doesn't make sense to overpay for quality if it could be had at a better price (-:

Hey medmaker
Sounds like you're really enjoying the Caseys Cuz x Sour D! ;) I hope you're as pleased w/ the finished product as much as you are w/ the way these ladies grow! Yup my friend, they can get big and really pack on the weight in the end! As far as your question about the finish-times and phenos, Id say from seed (even w/ the Thai influence) they should finish anywhere around 10-12 wks depending on pheno. As far as phenos to look out for, I personally like the ones that lean towards my "Casey Cuz" cut a bit more. These girls are gonna be the most "sativa" leaning from the bunch, they may take a bit longer to finish up, but offer an exceptional uplifting, mind expanding, blissful smoking experience! Well worth the extra wait/weight imho! Looking forward to the updated video/pics! Keep rockin' the Killer!

Why are your lights all weird colored?

they are leds in specific light spectrums.

reds in the 630-660 nm range and blues in the 460-470 nm range are best for plant photosynthesis.

red & blue = purple.

this is normal for most LED arrays.

there are also orange, green, ir, uv and others in the mix depending on which panel we are talking about.

I guess I could have been specific but I just had to respond the way I did because it just sounded like a funny question at the time ( dabbed one too much this am lol )

i understood there were more spectrums in the growblu lights. my welthinks are even called full spectrum.

50% 660nm deep red
10% 630nm red
10% 600nm orange
10% 3500K warm white
20% 460nm blue

i was just implying the majority are reds and blues. guess i should have been more specific.

:thank you:

Yeah I have seen that white balance tip before but my camera doesn't have custom nothing on it. I am however upgrading all of my cameras to hd ( FINALLY ) so I can start using my adobe video software and it be worth using LOL.

For some reason I thought gopros would be decent cameras for taking clean pics of indoor grows but having the ability to ZOOM, macro and other functions are pretty important.

I have two males in my bunch as I have some pollen chuckin to be done in my breeder room location ( also known as the other room DA DA DAHHHHHH lol ). What are you making beans for brother and are they gunna end up as freebies anywhere that I frequent?

they are primarily so i don't have to buy northern lights nirvana anymore.

this male i have does not appear to be spectacular or anything so with the remaining 4 seeds i will try again in the future and live with the genetics i get from these plants. the females (i think the other two plants are female) are bushy little beasts. might try to keep the larger one as a mother for now.

if i get enough seeds i might consider sending some in for freebies.

I dont get it, Why would you want lights that don't get all the wavelengths at the same time?

because I am prejudice against certain wavelengths and think they should be on at separate times to help "keep the peace" :tiphat:

if not there could be a LED RIOT on my hands

ahhhhhh :yay:

I had to post this pic, just noticed it when I was scrolling through the many pics I took the last couple days. This must have been a trimming day or something for me to bring out Jim LOL

On the yield results on the white panel btw, it is a bit over 13 ounces but there will be a video with pics and live video of the weighing, commentary etc ( once done polishing her up ).

What I found interesting all in itself was the fact that when I started to calculate my totals with 13 ounces versus 12 ounces something funny happened.

My white panel has a running wattage of 364 ( check my first weigh in video on my channel for pics, vid of it ) and I have a pic somewhere on here with this panel on the kill a watt meter I have. So anyways

with 364 running watts growing 13 ounces guess how many grams it equals out to? I found it pretty damn funny myself, now I know I won't get an exact 13 ounces BUT when you run the simply math numbers and they equal the same it seemed like the world made sense for me for a second or something.

Final Yield Results for the white growblu panel are in

Final Yield Results for the white growblu panel are in

Here is the weigh in and totals video

[YOUTUBEIF]Vi2qXHdz8JA[/YOUTUBEIF]

here is the text from the video for those who don't like clicking links OR youtube

---------------------
I was able to get 384.20 grams from my 180x3w growblu panel
It has a running wattage based off my kill a watt meter of 364 watts
Which means I hit 1.0554 grams per watt

Over 13 ounces from less than 400 watts of power AND the only cooling needed the entire time was two small fans and my exhaust inline scrubber. I don't even think it was really "needed" but having airflow especially FRESH AIR is a must especially if you want to yield anything of value ( medicinally speaking of course )

Excited to see the totals and can't wait to try and improve on those numbers once I get my new growblu panels!!!
