My diesel ryder, charger and Early Wonder Skunk will all stay in the tunnel though and hopefully get me some early smoke before a later harvest.

Hi rory , if it is early then fine but any later then you need air flow . I`ve had probs with plastic g houses b4 until i ran a decent fan , i actually finished a SAGE outdoor placing it in plastic g house nov & cut early jan with no heating .
3hrs of decent rain today , things are looking good .

Stay safe all . BGB

You in Ireland? If you managed the SAGE im gunna throw out some of the critical Jacks in June to stop them getting to big

M4 corridor England 1/2 way along

thats in fucking sane.

i germed a couple last week, all sprouting but church

pics were taken 1-1-03 , i know it was madness even trying it considering the flowering time but i was determined to get a smoke from her . We had a real good summer-autumn & i started to think of ideas to get it under cover , the glass g-house was out of the question as it would have filled it & left no room for the missus to place all our tender plants in so i bought the plastic one 6ft deep 4ft wide 6-6ins high . Problem was she was in a 45ltr pot so how the hell do i fit her in considering she filled the g-house ? .Then i thought about training plants for walls etc & decided to try an idea .
Dug a trench about a foot deep about mid way in the floor & laid the pot in lenghwise with about 4-6ins or 5ft of the plant poking out the door , drilled a 1in hole in side (top) of pot & inserted a funnel to water , after about 2 wks the plant started to raise upright then i started tying strings on all the internal framework & actually pulled it over in a complete u shape from the pot to the rear of the g-house , when i had the sideways u shape i then tied more cords and pulled it towards the door , i also had bricks on cords tied to the plant to help pull/bend . It was like a bloody spiders web in g-house as all branches were corded to keep them clear of the plastic sides .
I was tensioning up the cords daily & ended up with an S shape growing out of a pot laid flat with no branches breaking as it was done gradually . No heating & all i did was raise the rear poly up 6ins daily to get some air flow & dropped it down at night , i never even had room for a fan . Cut her down over 2wks , last cut near 3rd week Jan , one lovely smoke but never again .

Around 2000 we had a good summer & finished 19 Chronic fems outdoor . This pic was taken from a print i had from a film i took to the chemists for developing , luckily nobody realised what they were photos of :jump:

Is that algae growing on top of the soil?

Im about a week behind you, 2nd true set of leaves on most plants and just started 6 dieselryders today.

The polytunnel is great. So warm in there all day so the plants are loving it. Springing up faster than they usually do when planted June straight outside though. Could just be the better genetics i'm running this year.

Yeah it's a little bit of algae Rory, nothing to worry about tho i'll just throw a layer of sand over the soil if it comes back after repotting.

Looking forward to see how they progress in the tunnel, soil temps must be nice n warm might explain the good growth rate?

Thank you bocil outdoor grows over here are difficult with the wet autumns we have so good vibes are always welcome and much appreciated :)

Esbe we are honoured to be blessed with your presence and kind gifts of genetics that will work over here :) ....somebody give that man the best seat and fetch him a beer.

Update time:

Roots were getting a little crowded so the first tray were repotted.
staring to get a lil stretchy but there's not much i can do about that.
The erdpurt has to have the fattest fan leaves i've ever seen, really looking forward to see how they do.

Stay safe and happy everybody :)

Edit:
i forgot to say i pulled the pakistan valley plants and chucked them in the river, they stood the least chance of finishing so they had to go.

hey. Im doing a grow this year (my first one) mainly because im sick of paying 50 euros for 3-4 grams and half the time its complete shit :-( so i said id give it a shot :)
So far ive bought 20 mazar i sharif seeds from shayana shop and some auto strains from pickandmixseeds. Ive germed 6 mazars and put them straight outside which was a mistake.
Theyre looking fairly sad and im not sure if theyl make it. but now ive set up a mini growroom type thing so i can get them to a decent height first and then transplant them.
i have em at 24 hour lighting as i heard this works for the first few weeks(all this being fairly risky as i still live with my mom ;-) Any advice?? i live in the southwest btw

hi:wave: just bang them all under some cfls and water them regularly and they should pull through. are you going guerilla? dont no much about the mazars. you'd want to be germing all now, i havent had any frost for 4 weeks so im going to be sticking some out soon.

ya i have em under some lights and theyre about 5 o 6 inches and ya im putting them in a neighbouring field that ive never seen anyone in so i hope it works :jump:

Just ordered sme c99's from sbay.... got a few seeds ive no intentions of growing indoors, might pop some of them with the c99's and put em outside (c99s will be going inside though), just to see how they do, wont be around for the outdoor harvest this year, but i'll get some1 else to keep an eye on em. I dunno y, but i figure i'm gonna get the safari mix as the freebies lol, all them will be put out, then also have some roadrunner(auto), himalayan gold (cant see that doing well to be honest), power kush.... ah the freebies build up over time lol theres quite a few, i cant remember em.

Would give a good inclination for next year as to some possible spots though, n then give it a proper go next year

hugh, depending where in the southwest, watch out for relief rainfall, plant em on a slope if ya can, that'll provide some runoff keeping em from drowning, again depending where ya are, and of course the land ;)

ya the relief rain normaly gets us cos were right next to the mountains but i have a spot with sort of a ditch dug in next to it wich would probanly drain it quite well

Hiya Hugh,
good luck with the grow, if your worried about drainage adding a few layers of clay balls to your hole will help or you can mix up a nice free draining soil mix, soil on your mountain side might need some fixing.

Grimm sure you may as well throw a few out to give a few spots a test run, have a few spots to test myself.
Local sewage pumping station is one of them, kinda figured nobody in their right mind is going to want to go near the place :)

Good news for me in the garden over the past few days, some of the first lot are throwing out preflowers.
So far 2 females and 2 males from the xfiles x amnesia haze, other strains aren't showing yet.

the claw :(

2 little girls planted yesterday

Stay safe all.

Ah thats just natures way of saying we picked the wrong stain :)

happy things are going well bro!
Me too :) a few weeks of good growth and i can start training the side branches.

Good luck for your babies!
Thank you, if plants could grow on all the kind words from you guys then i'd be sitting on pounds of weed.

Another nice bit of news is that a very kind and generous person has given me the ok to use some of the plants to make seed for next year :thank you:

Here's 2 more xfiles x ah girls i pulled out today along with a male in a lttle tent i set up, first day on 12/12, I eed to get a reflector and muffin fan in there me thinks.
Tomorrow i'll be picking up a 250w red eco-light and poping it into the old diy tent so i'll have a place to put the males.

Hoping everybody stays safe and happy and lookng forward to hearing how your outside grows are going :watchplant:

little update from myself,
cracked most of my stuff, church took ages to sprout, had to attack them with razors to get them going, thev made up for it though and are out growing everything else.

i lost a load of purple widow, i left them a bit too close to their heat source me thinks. :bashhead:

got my cold frame up and going and was planning to put out early but iv gotten late frosts the last couple of days so ill wait till june probably.

apart from that the usual back breaking soil lugging:toohot: and nettle collection for tea. i also think iv got my strain wish list ready for next year :wahey:

also rory did you get the greencure in the end?

Many years back b4 i knew what i was doing with MJ i found a high field next to a lake i used to fish . It was like a tropical jungle with nettles docks & thistles all above 8ft most over 10ft . The field was beautiful soil coz it was the stuff from the seweage filter beds from the sewerage farm that owned the field .
Easy access to water being right next to the lake & under cover of darkness while night fishing ideal . So in i goes with a machete & 30 odd plants bout 2ft high all grown from bagseed !!!
They came to bugger all but probably beat the world reord for height , sadly the sewerage farm & field have gone , missed opportunity .

and nettle collection for tea.

man after my own heart , thats all i use in the whole garden for growth/veg , trouble is it smells as bad as Cookie Monsters sewerage !!!

i`m still trying to find a decent organic for flower & use an organic tomato feed but wish i could find an alternative from nature . Mollasses helps & Bannana skin is near impractible .

Stay safe all . BGB
