Really, I just went to their site and entered the dates..I really was suprised because they usally are the highest priced...keep me up on it if you can sunny....Peace
Hey Sunny, that link says it has expired....Damn also I dont know how much of a difference it makes put we were getting I think 4 tickets total..... let me know.....
everything i am finding... cheaptickets.com, expedia.com, priceline.com, etc... no less than 1400 for a roundtrip ticket for one person april 17 and returning on april 22. Going to smoke a bowl to chill out a little
I can get a ticket on cheaptickets.com in November for $480 round trip!!! But in April it goes up to $1400. Does this sound backwards to anyone else. Shouldnt the tickets be cheaper the further in advance you buy them?
Tulip season starts in April I believe. I picked up 3 RT tickets for 1806.21 from British Air. SF to Heathrow. That was in Sept. though. I was suprised to see not many seats left then.
There can be many variables to airfare. The lowest rates usually require that you stay over the weekend (Sat nt stay required). There are many ticket consolidators in the U.S. A ticket consolidator is an agency which, due to their sales to certain destinations or on certain air carriers, work with wholesale/contract rates in exchange for their productivity given to the specific airline. A ticket consolidator fare is totally different than regular published rates. Martinair generally has low rates most any time of the year. Of course the further west you are in the usa the more the ticket generally costs (further distance compared to NYC or ATL or MIA, etc.) Also, during the winter (after December holidays are over) the prices take a big leap downwards. April is considered 'shoulder season'....not low season but not high season yet.
Don't panic too much about airfare at this moment. You all still have plenty of time to search for good deals, and there are good deals from most major usa gateway cities. In California there are tons of ticket consolidators.
Hey Sharp that sounds sweet if you could keep me updated on what you find. The $600 rt from SF I got was only two days ago and I just checked and it was still there under a search I did . However as Dutch pointed out it could be because of the Sat. night stay required, I entered 4/14-4/22...Let me know...Peace
Hey sunny. I would suggest switching your dates to like the 18th to the 23rd. The 17th is a sunday and the 22nd is a friday. Those two days are always more expensive to fly on.
Here's a couple SP. I'm seeing fares in the 600 range. But like DG says after Dec. holidays are over look for a drop. You'll will find something reasonable no doubt.
