2000 Watt First Time Grow Diary

The Ak knocks ya on your ass. The chronic has a huge punch too and taste really good. Thats all I tried so far. For 4/20 yesterday I smoked out a bunch of people with some scissor hash which was wonderful! Everybody was messed up. They smell really potent and the taste was there with the 2 kinds I tried. Filled up 34 of those quart mason jars. Didnt weigh anything yet, going to wait until another week or so of curing but those jars are packed pretty tight. Definately going to hold me over for a year. Ill post up some more pics later.

I am particularly interested in the dream goddess strain as a have a large amount of these beans. What did you think of this cross? How does the dream goddess compare tp the other strains you grew in terms of smell, taste, yield, potenct, etc?

VERY impressive for a first grow, infact it would be impressive even if you had a few under your belt

so how would you describe the chronic high? I've been wanting it for the yield aspect quite some time but the "dull indica down in the couch and end your day" high isnt one I want

Hey guys sorry about the delays. Work made me go out of town for the past week so I didnt get much time around the grow. I harvested at 8 weeks (56 days) They all look pretty good maybe could have gone a little longer but had to chop since I am going out of town for the next couple weeks. Heres some pics of them at 8 weeks and some of them hanging and now jarred today.

Hey everyone Just thought I would finish this thread and tell the numbers to everyone and my favorites of the 4 varietys.

They now have been jarred for over a month and each week they taste better and better. Dont think I will lose any more weight after this point from the buds drying out anymore. I ended up with 34 ounces of dried really good strong tasting pot.

My personal favorite is the "AK-47" because you know when you smoke it you are in for a treat. You can taste that its potent and that you will have no pain for a few hours. I picked them a little earlier and the buzz is a little more lifting than the others which I like as well. 2 hits of this is enough for me and I cant even finish a bowl throughout the day. Each hit sends you to the bathroom coughing your ass off because it expands in the lungs so much. The bag appeal is the best out of the batch because of all the crystals this bud has on it. Anyone who has seen the bud keeps hounding me to find them a bag.

My second favorite is the other Serious Seeds product which is "Chronic". Alot of people I see write how it doesn't taste good or doesn't catch you a buzz, and its just a good yielder. The taste is actually amazing. A week or 2 after harvest it was more of a fruity pine taste but now after a month jarred and cured it taste more like piney orange to me. Same thing coughing from the expansion in the lungs and really rips ya good. Puffster was asking how the high was and it is a couch-lock buzz. You only need a few puffs of this and you are set. Of my friends who want a bag this is the kind most of them want. I can see why. It tastes awesome, the bag appeal is there with awesome orange colors and nice solid buds.

Then theres the ''Dream Goddess''. The buds got a hint of purple to them, nice crystals, an earthy smell to them, and some smooth smoke. The taste isnt anything crazy like the other 2 which were delicious. Its more of an earthy, smokey taste but has a nice buzz to it. Everyone still compliments on it and 1 guy said it was the best smoke out of the batch. I try a new kind every day and its nice when the Dream Goddess comes back around to smoke. Relaxing and stones you without any paranoia like the Ak-47 would give you if you smoked too much. It goes well with a nice stiff drink.

Skunk#1 although is great smoke, doesnt taste like skunk all that much. A nice yielder, big buds, nice crystals, with very little taste to it. A hint of fruitiness when exhaling and gets ya good and ripped but I think I was looking for something a little more skunky. I burned some of this with some friends who didnt try the others and they were thrilled with it. Me comparing it to the others I smoked the day before and after knows its not as good tasting but still stones ya good which is all that counts.

I think my next grow I am growing the ''Chronic" again and picking up "The Pure" skunk. Going to wait for a few months yet to start up again. Still sitting on way too much pot that I didnt think I would have after my first grow.

Oh and another thing. I keep the jars in the basement, where its nice and cool. Would anything bad happen keeping all these jars in a freezer for the summer as the basement is starting to warm up too?

wow very good my friend i just loved those donkey dick sized buds gee hmm ima try ak next run yeah i love growing also but you had a great result on your first time it took me manny attempts to get it right but when i did yeah it was well worth it hehehee

The freezer is a good place to store the bud from what I hear once it's thoroughly dried. I usually have a stash last about 6 mos. and I keep it in a cool dark place curing the whole time. The end of the batch tastes awesome after 6 mos.

Wow meathead, those were amazing results. I'm growing 10 plants under 1000 watts and i just added another 1000 watts and my buds are no were near that fat. Im only on day 23 flowering and I've been having cold temp problems though, i hope my ladies fatten up like yours.
