I'm considering using these things as temps are becoming an issue where I'm growing, and I could probably put those 30C temps to good use.

The thing is, I don't have a sealed environment. If I were to put a couple of these things into my 2x4 tent, then put the exhaust fan on a timer set to come on once per hour for maybe twenty seconds, would that work or be effective?

Co2 needs to be kept stable during lights on to be effective. If it fluctuates you get growth based on the low end of the fluctuation.

Bottled co2 is the only way to truely do it indoors.

You’re better off investing the money into fans & thermostats to increase your airflow and control your temps to be fair.

Our temperatures are bouncing dramatically between -20C (a week ago) and projected to climb to +7C next week. I don't have any heat on in my room (I have my furnace vent plugged up), my window is open and my tent with my inline fan is tuned on on all the way up, the temps inside of the tent are still hitting +31C. My RH doesn't get any higher than twenty percent, like it's been an absolute snail crawl to the harvest line!!

In that scenario CO2 is not your limiting factor. If you add more it won't produce any benefit, even if done correctly (sealed room, bottled CO2, AC etc.).
Better spend some money to improve the environment. A humidifier might help and is relatively cheap (use RO water).

You’re running a touch hot @ 31c, 24-26C works better fme.

I agree with @Orange's Greenhouse the humidifier would be a better investment in your case.

Dial in your temps and humidity then consider co2 after you’ve run your dialled in room for 1 year so you know how it reacts.

CO2 is pointless unless you can dial in ALL OTHER INPUTS PERFECTO! Especially environment and light intensity!

Okay, you're gonna have to pardon my ignorance as I'm still fairly new to this game.

I'm not looking to add CO2 as a way to generate new growth, I would be adding it to nullify the damage done by the high temps inside of my tent. I've watched a few videos on YT and in some of them they mention that high powered grow lights can make use of CO2 enriched environments where the temperatures are around 30C. That's the only reason I'm considering the CO2 for this scenario (I want to eventually branch out to using gas cylinders but not at this moment).

I have a window fan that sucks in cold air from outside. I usually have the door closed in my lung room, and when I go in there sometimes it's bitterly cold, but the temp inside of my tent doesn't dip below 22C, not until the sun goes down. My inline fan is at roughly 65% - 75% full power. Is this normal?

I'm using the Mars Hydro setup, TSL2000 with the 2x4 tent. I've never grown before, this is actually kind of fucked. I picked LED because I heard the ballast lamps get incredibly hot, but for whatever reason this growlight is pumping out a SHIT TON of heat. I'm actually considering getting a shed and putting this thing outside, as I'm almost certain that these things won't freeze during the day in our Canadian winters.

So it boils down to getting some of that colder room air through your tent. Spend your money on ventilation. A bigger exhaust fan on top coupled with an intake fan coming in through the bottom vents. You can add some small interior fans blowing up as well to get a good flow.

Do you have to put it in the tent?
