Yup, I saw that. It really is just sad what happened. Kids that young don't need to be smoking. The kids can't even understand what they are doing in the first place! Its pretty messed up.

yeah thats fucked up. I wonder how many kids are fed alcohol or cigarettes though? just as bad in my opinion, but never hear of that on the news.

Some people are just sick in the head!!!!! My Doctor told me when I renewed my prescription that children under the age of 13 smoking pot will cause irreversible damage to their brains.

okay lets not get all crazy and riled up. kids don't need to be using pot. but in some jamaican communities, kids drink ganja tea to help them in school. and in rastafarian communities, kids are smoking too.

i mean, kids drink alcohol at young ages.

a little won't kill them if they have some randomly and sporadically. i don't think they should have it , but whatever.

I personally would not want my kid drinking or using pot till hes old enough to understand what hes doing, and because everyone else is doing it is not a reason, i think that we should teach our kids about the effect drinking can have if done to often. And at 2 or 5 or 13 or 16 there not old enough to accept the resonibility or drinking or smoking, go to school theres plenty of time to party

I'm an avid mj smoker with 2 children and i would NEVER do what that asshole did. He deserves whatever is coming to him.

There's a difference between drinking alcohol willingly, and being FORCED to smoke marijuana. If the judge really wanted too he could charge those fuckwits with violating those childrens constitutional rights. They did not choose to smoke, their uncle and his idiotic friend made them do it.

If a five year old bought a bag of pot, rolled a joint, and smoked it in his room alone...well that is sad, but it happens. I made the argument in the other thread, if I injected your children with heroin would you give me quotes about how in some countries it's used as medicine and a learning aid? No, I would hope you'd stab me in the neck, because if I had children and ANYONE did what those two kids did I would not need the court system to sort them out.

If you actually watched the video you would see that:

A. The 5 year old was not forced
B. The two year old didn't even smoke, they just held the blunt up to his mouth as a joke

Being in child protective services and growing up in foster care is going to fuck these kids up for life, not smoking some pot.

People with moral fiber? I'm sorry, but if you condone this activity you need to reevaluate what you stand for. Children deserve to have a childhood, stuff like this robs them of it. I hope you never have children, God knows what they'd be subjected too.

I'm sorry I think marijuana is something that an ADULT should chose to use. And I'm sorry I think it's a crime to be forced to do something against your will. I guess I'm old fashioned though, I guess it's only a matter of time before rape becomes legal...cause sex never hurt anyone right? I'm done with this, the fact that people actually think these teenagers were merely being funny is severely depressing.

Anymore than handing a 5 year old a deadly happy meal from McDonald's and telling him to eat it is "forcing them against their will" to eat garbage that kills millions each year.

People give children soda, deep fried food, sugary snacks etc all the time.

Hell when my mom grew up, it was common place for people to put a bit of whiskey into a child's bottle if they wouldn't sleep at night.

If you were a fanatical pot prohibitionist you would probably feel like throwing a party when this story broke. People do all sorts of stupid things but when a story/video clip like this comes along it is almost the "perfect storm" from a public relations aspect to keep cannabis in it's illegal place in society.
