armed widow sounds pretty interesting! ive been puffing some (chem x mothership) x c99 all day and i love it! nice fruity taste with a great balanced high! if you haven't smoked it yet, i think you will like it!
Heya Hide - thanks bro, the babies are settling in fine, all looks good. After the Swt#3, DW and trainwreck chops we'll have room to see what they do. I'm thinkin few weeks veg first, let's see how they like the Mexican guano.
Hey High&Lonesome - good to see ya - that CD x MS x C99 is good tasting toke, didn't come close to the ECSD or wreck in potency tho. To be fair it was sampled at 55 days, so a little early. We'll let this one go to 70-80.
Hey Toke, glad to see the Armed Widow made it safely. I know you was waiting on that one and you was really looking forward to it. Congrat's on the safe new strain. You take care and see you in chat.

First, all my pics are unedited in any program, they are loaded into PaintShop Pro 5 browser to view, crop and resize and add text. I have the Adobe CS package containing Photoshop CS but have never learned how to use it or even tinker with the program. No burning desire to learn it either. Some would take offense at your Photoshop quip - we take our pics seriously around here.
All pics are taken with Olympus C4000 Zoom in point & click mode and in Super Macro mode with White Balance adjusted for each light, hence the blue/purp tint to some when I forget to adjust. The best pics are of plants taken out of the cabinets and placed into a DIY photo booth with 300w CFL 3500k lighting when I'm not in lazy mode. Pics are resized to 50% of the original for uploading.
Armed Widow is a cross of AK99 x WW done by HideYourBud I think. Looks like a very interesting cross, time will tell.
Thanks BG. Pot tags were hard to track so I made this spreadsheet. When a pot goes into rotation the start date is entered and the sheet tells me how long it's been in and how many days left. In flower the days left is calculated on the avg max flower time of a strain, and is tweaked to reflect my environment.
I also have a strain grow app that tracks and compares each strain too, haven't used it much tho. Every aspect of the grow is recorded such as lights, nutes, etc - and adjustments can be made to max yeild. This app saves database files as delineated text that can be shared with others.
WoW, I really like this alot. Where did you get it, or did you write the code yourself. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on this software. Boy, it sure does make life alot easier and easy to look back at old runs did awhile back. Really like this alot. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Take care,
BG
I found it a year or so back when I had Cindy and Star running and wanted to compare tweaks. We needed something that would save a file that could be shared with others, and Velvet fit the bill pretty well. It was still a work in progress but works well enough for major comparisons. When someone has a problem with a strain we can pass a file to them and they can see what is causing it by comparing successful grows of others.
Good morning 1toke. See you are up hitting the boards nice and early this morning! I too downloaded that program last night...I wanted to see how this baby works. thanks for the post and I'll see ya in chat sometime.
Evening Toke, ya. I download the software and gave it a quick look. Pretty stoked about it. Just got to figure out how to add strains to the data base. I think it's laid out pretty well. As long as you can add and change to it. Like adding different lights, nuts, etc. I haven't really looked at it to well and it might let you already do this. I just didn't see how. Got to check it out good. Well, thanks for sharing the info and maybe i'll have alot to add to a big data base collection once i get back. I think sharing these files is a good thing.

Thanks guys, guess more are interested in tracking database than I thought. Thought I was the only geek nut.
Well if there's interest, I used to program Access databases that interfaced with the real world and displayed data in forms like Velvet. Difference is you would have to have M$ Access to open the database. I may tinker this weekend and post something up just fer fun. I think Velvet is on the right track but I think they come up short on things like adding strains, and the English version blacks out the harvest info portion. Wet & dry weight, bag appeal and smoke reports should also be represented.
