she'll get the chop about the time i reckon i am down to 5 days supply left 
that should be at earliest tueaday, 5 days from now at week 9, at latest the tuesday afterwards.
Tried to get some better pics back in the cab, had to pull some hanging bulbs to get a pic though.
Centre focus is Onyx #1 at day 59, 8 weeks 3 days.
What you see in the background here is onyx's #3 and #4, at weeks 7 and then diesel ryder's #1 and #2 at weeks 5 and 4 respectively.
Here are diesel ryder's, closest 1st, #3 & #4, week 3. then diesel ryder's #5 & #6 at week 2 and then diesel ryder's #7 & #8 at week 1. In the two distant pots are snowryder #2 and blue Himalaya #1, germinating in the pot right there. snowryder #3 has sprouted already and i think i see soil movement under little miss blue.

Trying to see the trichs but no scope so no joy, going by how long i can withstand chopping her down i'm afraid. will look at a scope in the future but not many of these girls are going to get more than 9 weeks.
The smell is a mix of every type of weed ye've ever had the pleasure of sniffing. from hashy to piney to lavender to cat pee to lemon to aniseed. keeps changing and is sortya fizzy like when ye stick yer nose in a glass of coke thats still frothing.
The haul from Onyx #1 smeels exactly the same, i feel like i get a buzz on just sniffing as i open the jar. vaporised thc or something prolly an oxygen head high fromt he massive deap breath come to think about it lol

lmfao i can honestly say this is the same as when i last grew the onyx out, you just cant describe her, every time i went near her she gave me a different smell from fruity to diesel to dank to freshly cooked toast to sweet berries the list goes on and on lol
even when smoked i kept getting the different flavours coming through, i think she does taste better when she has been proper dried though
im just about to get the pleasure of growing out another onyx and hope they turn out as nice as yours have, if you like the results you got you should have a look at mi5 , again she will not dissapoint you

i'd have to say onyx is a keeper, she does what ye expect and with no fuss. all 5 of the pack have been extremely close in pheno's. Only 1 out of the 5 has shown early signs of heavy trichome coverage, the rest have verrry little on anything but the buds, some suger leaves get them but not right to the tips.
I'm a bit worried my week 4 diesel ryder is going to be a monster, she's already hit 16 inches tall while her sis at a week older is only 13 inches.
My 1st femmed blue himalaya popped up today, will enjoy growing her out i hope, since she was a freebie from the seed bank. I asked for something nice to try and he sent 4 BH's for me

i can only go off your pics mate but she does look to be a bit early , you should invest in a 30x loupe off ebay they only cost about £3 and you can get a better look at the trichs to see where she is at for the sake of 1 -2 weeks this does effect the overall quality of the smoke, if i remember correctly it was week 9 when my onyx started to swell up and produce more trichs but she did run for 12 weeks

yeah i gotta agree, thanks for the tips guys. i wish i coulda let her go longer but i dont wanna run outa smoke and what i have left should last about 5 days hopefully. She's gonna hang in that box for 3-4 of those then i'll chop the stems and jar.
That box once closed still has a little airflow from the intake through it, i only chucked those desicant packs in as an afterthought
The scope is a must but it's gonna have to wait till end of the month as i am skint until then. Meaning 100% no more buys till payday.
I'll be doing my best to let onyx's #3 and 4 go as long as i can. both are the same shape but smaller than this one was at the same age but both have got way more crystal coverage already
edit/ if ye like the desiccant packs, theres a guy on ebay selling it by the kilo, the non toxic kind that ye can re-activate in yer oven. I thought about using it as the means to dry but i want a more natural dark, cool drying box with a little air exchange. a couple of grams of it will help speed the drying process only slightly.

Update on the perpetual auto grow, worst thing to happen has happened, got a bug infestation, thrips, got the bug spray and its suitable for herbs and fruiting crops and lists thrips as one of the bugs it kills, i treated two night ago and did an inspection earlier with the scope. this is what i found sucking on one of my leaves
I honestly can't tell whether its sucking or dead, hasn't moved in ages.
Someone please confirm this is a thrip, pretty sure but would like confirmation
