Seems everyone I talk to thinks that Tim Tipton/COMidnightRider is a douche. I'm not surprised that he banned you from his meetup group, that sounds like his regular tactics. Hell, I read a story about him assaulting someone who didn't agree with him! Add on the fact that he and Michael Lee of Cannabis Therapeutics used to be in cahoots together, and the picture starts to become even clearer. AVOID that guy at all costs, you'll be glad you did.

Who is Tim Tipton? I know who Micheal Lee is, but not familiar with Tim or his antics. Does he run a dispensary?

Used to be a partner of Ml until he was busted ripping him off. That's the kinda guy he is. Does most of his advertising on Meetup now. It's the only site that he used to not get flamed on, but recently it started there also because of his BS.
Not hard to get any info on him. Ask anyone in Colorado that's dealt with disp for awhile and he'll come up in conversation.

2010 Breeders Bowl - Colorado

"The owners of The Healing Center, Jesse Irizarry and Deborah Schultz, are excited to announce a new MMJ Colorado event. The Breeder’s Bowl will be an annual spring competition for the legally registered medical marijuana patients and caregivers in the state of Colorado. Our first annual competition will be held in June 2010.

This competition will be for those patients and caregivers in Colorado who are creating new medicines for our community, by crossing existing strains and developing new ones. In addition to the competition, this event will also provide legal and medical information that is open to the public, entertainment, a ticketed dinner banquet, and a weekend of fun.

In order to keep this event at a minimal cost to the attendees, The Healing Center will be holding various fundraisers over the next year. Our first fundraiser is to be held in August 2009. The event is a comedy night, with a silent auction and a tricky tray raffle. Now, we know you are asking, “What’s a tricky tray raffle?” Each item to be raffled will be a themed tray of goodies. Some examples are: coffee tray, dinner night for two, an evening at the movies, and the list goes on…

We are asking for donations of cash or items for the silent auction and the tricky tray raffle. We will also be happy to build a tray from any item or service you are able donate. Let your imagination run wild!

How did I miss this? I heard it wasn't that great. But I didn't find out till today it even happened. Hopefully this 2010 breeder's bowl will be dooope. I know I'm talkin' to some buddies about getting something ready. Who's down from some KONG hybrids?

there weren't that many entries, so winning the caregiver's cup is not something to be REAL proud of. But, High Times will put these guys and their Bruce Banner on the radar in their January issue cause one of their photogs happened to be there. Of course this will increase delta's demand and thus, they will for sure raise prices. I'm sure that Bruce Banner is great, but against 25 buds is one thing, but against 300 buds is another.

Dont worry. same thing happend in LA. they took 2 or 3 dispensaries with B+ (maybe A- at best) buds and put them against a bunch of outdoor shit that wasnt selling. so of course guess what one the LA cup>>> yup. only problem is that title dont hold shit when the dispensary down the street is selling A+ buds for similar or lower prices. people arent stupid. hype and names only go so far....

Kind of wierd running across this forum and hearing about the Bruce Banner strain winning the Colorado cup because my friend got this strain from them about 2 months ago. He bought 6 clones from them. He said one of the guys was a d-bag about giving up the strain to him. The other one said he could have the 1 clone just dont resell it to any one else. The bad thing is, is that my friend thinks this strain is going to be the shit. Hearing what heard from this forum really clears this strain up for me.
I wish we could of had some better caregivers at this event so we could have represented a little bit better. Well better luck next year I guess.

I happen to know for a fact that the bruce banner isn't just hype. It may have just been a for fun breeding project, but it is definitely quality. I don't know who your buddy got it from but the originator of the strain is anything but a " d bag"

I don't know how you people can make a judgment on a person, or people you've never met, or a strain probably 95% of the people on here have never smoked.

I've grown a ton of strains and the Bruce is for real. Its in my top 3 of over 50 strains run. I have tons of other flavors and there is only one jar i reach for 90% of the time, bruce. The stuff has an unbelievable complex flavor, good yields, and a great uplifting high. Thanks to the D9 family for their good work on the strain.

Sorry none of the other entries were up to par. That is not in anyone's control except those that chose to enter or not enter.

puphdown, I picked up a bit from CT in springs, it wasn't bad at all. I doubt it was Delta 9 that grew that selection I had got, but it was pretty good. I'd like to see what it looks like with an experienced hand growing it, drying it properly and putting a bit of a cure on it. Kudos to you for getting the cut, I hear it is hoarded bigtime. Peace...

I passed it out freely, pretty much all last year. I really think for some cuts it just depends on who you know. I don't mean that in a snobby way either, there's just a lot of people in colorado and you can't possibly know ever single person or group of people that grow.

Hopefully things can change on that front as our mmj scene progresses throughout the years.

please do i am interested to hear what you all have to say about this strain. I have found few strains that have as good of a taste with a nice high to go along with it.
