I hope you're taking care of it, its likely that the plant dying in the back is because of PM. PM is only visible when its life cycle has completed, the actual white stuff is more spores that will spread at an exponential rate. Problem, spray with oils at this stage in flower will likely cause Botrytis (bud rot). I guess the nasty sulfur burner will be needed... I don't envy the people that have to smoke that though.

Nice grow Gottt it.......

Sulfur burner is the way to go. I been real lucky over the years...Only had it once.... I put fungicide into my white paint I use after every grow. I had it once a long time ago but the sulfur worked in about a week. Didn't change taste or smell. Hope everything works out for ya.

Peace

Oh, by the way... I asked a long time ago about what EC or ppm you run and which meter.... please answer? Thanks

lil wayne - I dont know probably because I topped them and some of them are falling over already and they still have 4 more weeks .. so i mean that is a lot of time to gain a lot more weight.

Sacredbreh - the ppm is at 1000

god i cant wait til this shit is done ;)

Back in the old times, the mountain folk would use sulfur to preserve apples. Once done properly; aired out, aged, jarred up, they made for some mighty fine eats through the frigid winter. So yeah, SacredBreh I can believe that the bud will come out ok.

My first thought was: get some indusrail size dehumidifier and run the humidity down to 40% or something. Next: build a big HVAC air return box and blower for suction and stick the biggest Filtrete Purple filter in there (the second most expensive 1 inch one). That should catch the mold spores.

I forgot how you are doing your ventilation, gottt it, but I'd say rig it so you can keep the humidity down low. The mold? could have come in from outside, so you could put a Filtrete on the room's intake if it doesn't have one already. I would guess that you need dehymidifier capacity to match your res's daily top off rate plus whatever comes in with the fresh air. If you can't just gravity drain the dehumidifier(s), then get the automatic sump pumps...why do I think I need to tell YOU how to do this? You set up the 48 bucket recirc system. I'll just go back to my little 2 story grow cab with my 4 short bucket soil system :badday:

If it makes you feal any better, I've got a symphillid (root sap sucking caterpillars) problem in my soil.
I found a big one in the soil of one of my reveg Satoris and FREAKED. I'd bean hoping that watering the roots with a solution of Spinosad would take care of it. It wiped most of them out, but not all. They thrive in moist, warm soil. My Satoris are way to small for the 3 gallon buckets I had them in. (I thought I could force massive root growth that way.) As a result, There was no way they could ever drink the dirt dry. When symphillids dry out they die. I caught one, took pics, and then put it in a jar as a "specimen". In an hour or two it was dried out and dead.

So how to save my mother plants? I dug them out. I bathed the roots in tap water in 5 gallon buckets in my bathtub until all the soil was out. I then washed the roots some more. (HUGE muddy mess) I had to strain the dirt and stuff from all that muddy water with my kitchen strainer and flush the muddy water down the toilet.

Once I had just plant and roots, I gave each one a "root bath" in a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup of Spinosad solution mixed up 4x the strength it recommends for spraying. (Spinosad...I originally improperly identified them as larval thrips) But Spinosad kills caterpillars and is safe and organic and smells like Baccardi so I feel comfortably with it. (but I would have used DDT at this point) I put the plant with the roots in the bath in the corner of my top box for 20 minutes then planted it in a nice small 6 inch square pot so that it can suck the soil dry on a daily basis.

They recovered from the transplant/root wash in about 12 hours and I now have a ton of extra space in my growbox. I added a little fan so they will transpire that much faster now.
