So whats in this thing...
(2x) 24”w x 20”d x 36”h cabinets, one stacked upon the other and bolted together. Solves the possibility of light leaks trying to create both a veg and flower area in the same cab.
The upper cabinet is subdivided to house my remote 150HPS ballast, 95cfm hydrofarm cage fan, timers, 10 socket power strip, PC fan 12v AC/DC adapters, air pump etc. The shelf separating the utility and veg compartment is silicone sealed. A 65 cfm PC fan vents air out of this section to keep all the electronics nice and cool.

The top cabinet has approx 22” h to produce all the clones I can possibly use and serves as a refuge for my moms. I sometimes start new seeds in here as well.

What I’ve found is 6500k is excellent for moms and 3000-3500k works REALLY well for seeds. On the left is a young “Ice” and “Crystal” mom under two 13 watt Daylight (6500k) CFL’s with a “Y” connector in a lamp cord. In the center is a simple 8 hole bubble cloner. I get about a 90% success rate within 10-14 days using nothing but RO water. 4 Ice and 4 Crystal clippings in there now. A single PC fan (65 cfm) keeps it just above ambient temps.

On the right is 5 youngsters started from seed, 2 Bigbud, 2 White Widow and 1 Aurora Indica. The light is a GE 2D Torchieres bulb rated at 55 watts (3000k) that puts out 4000 lumens. When the pole on the torch lamp rusted I pulled the cord and 4 pin socket out and started a few seeds under it. It has worked so well over the years that I will never use anything else.
The internode spacing is real tight and I can sex my plants (up to 6 at a time in solo cups) under this single bulb. The really cool thing about this light is it has a dimmer switch so I can increase or decrease the light as needed. Works well over the bubble cloner when you don’t need a lot of light.

The flower chamber houses a single 150HPS bulb in a DIY hurricane glass cool tube. No supplemental lighting needed and has a full 26”of usable height (under the cool tube). I have roughly a 23w”x 18d” footprint down there and have found that the best position for the cool tube is at an angle (pointing from one corner to the other). I’ve got 3 Ice and 1 mut (unknown bag seed) in there now on day 54 of 12/12 in 2 gal pots. I train my girls at 3 nodes (top and LST aggressively). FFOF soil, perlite, dolomite. I use whatever ferts are cheapest. No real difference noted in growth rate between all the fancy and basic MG ferts in my experience. Just a lot less green in my wallet.

The lower cab/bulb is vented by the 95 cfm cage fan (very quiet actually) and blows out the left side of the lower chamber through a laundry vent. I screwed a piece of plywood on the bottom of the cab, and then cut a 3” circle through the bottom shelf for passive intake. Along the bottom of the back are 3 x 3” vents that also serve as passive intakes.
In the upper right corner is another PC fan that circulates air over the plants. Temps stay within 3-5 degrees of ambient. No scrubbing you might note as the smell with so few plants really isn’t noticeable. The cabinet(s) are outside on the balcony (apartment dweller) so the smell dissipates quickly with good trades. When the winds die though it can get a little smelly.

I’m in the process of trying a little hydro next round and have built a scrog screen for the task compliments of Mighty Johns design. Thanks MJ.
It's on tap next so the learning curve will be heading up real soon. I'm going to have a bunch of questions as it'll be my first attempt at hydro.
So this is the setup that has evolved through a lot of wasted time, energy and $. The irony is how simple it truly is. You may be skeptical at how productive a 150 HPS can be...sometimes a pictures worth a thousand words. I appologize for my cameras lack of detail. My next purchase is a better camera with some micro capabilities. All I can say about what's in the jars is 50% cloudy, 50% amber.

Sorry I been away for a few weeks.
Turns out that the alleged stativa pheno #2, the same one that was finishing first, is the best producer yet! She is a perfect hybrid with the most dominant Indica traits of all OB1 seeds recieved. Although she was more "branchy" and streched more than the alleged Indica Pheno, her nugs are rock solid and quickest to harvest. In onther words, this pheno really is the Indica Pheno I been waiting for!
I harvested her on day 71 flower, after a 1 week flush. She has the dankest, rock solid, nicest-strcutured flowers I have ever grown. She is the one of the best smokes I ever had.
For this reason she will be replacing my old, 270+ day mother of the Nuclear Cloud sister Pheno, the C-Dub strain. She will be the sole plant that I hope to grow from now on. She is my golden cup of Canabis and a hybrid of your expertise.
Here is the story you have been waiting for...
On March 31st I harvested this Pheno #2 of Sugabear's OB1 hybrid:
And at day one cure (April 5th). It dried the fasted of all weed I ever dried, which is wierd because it is the most dense weed I ever harvested.
She Yeilded 38-40 grams for a single 1 gallon pot! The weed is so dank, that on day 5 of being dried, full on stoner/ weed-seller paid $240 for a half oz without any cure. It is THATgood of a smoke. Fucking potent shit mang. (p.s. im not a dealer, Im just a poor car-less student who cant refuse a good deal)
Then on April 4th, Stativa pheno #1 turned out to be more Indica like the above Pheno, but she took a little longer, and is starting to dry/cure into an almost indentical product of the above pheno.
Here are my three OB1 clones that still vegging under my 150HPS.
The brown pot has my Golden Pheno, and the other two is the above Pheno, which I dont plant to save. (I have enough room for one mom only)
And the eldest OB1 clones at day 36 Veg.
One is the last and final pheno that I dont plan on saving (which is the allegeed Indica pheno that wasn't branchy, yet turned out to have stativa like buds, and is still flowering!).
The other is going to be the new mom!!

And her product cured at 3-4 weeks old.

Looks like I do have that "12 week pheno". It's disguised as a Indica, but it's definately the twelve week pheno! Here she is at day 80, being fed pure tap water for 15 days straight. I didnt know she would flower this long, and would have fertilized a bit longer. Though she will be ready soon, so hopefully over 15 days of pure h20 will produce some really clean smoke...
Here is the newly named OB1 Indica #1, since she is rock hardest and finished first. She is also the sole keeper strain, so It's only right that she is named #1. This is at 4-5 days cure, and ten grams:
Here is the newly named and soon to be flowered for the last time: Indica #2, since she finished second, and is predominantly Indica although with Stativa-like traits similar to that of Indica #1. These buds are about 5 days old and still drying, though will be jarred probably tomorow.
#1 has been cured for four days, and #2 has yet to be cured. This makes a difference, but i doubt it has much to do with the noticeable difference in appearance when compared. Rather, the difference is most likely from the Pheno difference.
Well I just took two bowls full of the Indica #2 for the first time, while typing this. The buds are definately much more fluffly that Indica #1. It burns faster, feels lighter, smells weaker, looks just as dank though. I dont think #2 is as potent as #1. And I doubt #3 is going to top any of them.
Lets just pray that the clones taken from Indica #1 adult vegging in the flower pot/cab, and the Indica #1 in the CFL cabinet will all survive!
I also pray that the Indica #1 in the CFL cab becomes a suitable mother...
Oh yeah, and since we are flowering the current C-dub/ Nuclear Cloud sister mother, we shall see once and for all what the purple clones really were....

Aloha Bulenath. Wow man you got me droolin. I just took two clones of Suga's OB1's...I hope to sex them in the next 2 weeks and then I hope to get a golden pheno as well.

Thank you both for the kind words. School is going good, we have about 1 month left, so I wont be harvesting another cab-full till summer break. It's cool to get back in there and realize how under educated I really am. Anyway, good to see you around PipeDream, it has been quite some time.

what pheno are you looking for? That light colored, 60-70 day pheno? I hope you can get that pheno, but I think Ganja is a lot like people in the sence that no two are exactly alike.
Indica #1 seems to be quite the special oddity I hope you come across. It is very brancy like a stativa, yet produces rock hard nugs. As if the Afghani and Burmese mixed perfectly in this one seed.
