Dude, old school triple beam is the way to go. Very accurate, holds lots of weight and easily calibrated if needed. Plus....there's the cool factor, most improtant in my thinking. However I understand totally if the size and weight are an issue. You can pick up a small pocket digital from your local Harbor Freight or from a dealer on eBay for well under ten bucks. Technology has gotten so good that they are very accurate even down at that low price point. Even the cheapest measure down to a tenth of a gram. The real cheap ones go up to 300 grams and the better ones up to 1000, which is usually way more than needed for a 150HPS kind of guy for measuring both bud and nutes.





This one ran me about $6 on line and that included the shipping costs. I've had it for several years with no problems. The current ones are the same price but hold more weight and come in a better variety styles.

Anybody used the dial-a-beam? They changed the gram slider into a rotary dial. It's got a dopity dope flavor but easy to "dial" in.

For me simple digital kitchen scales with crappy accuracy of +-1g works fine. I mean it's acurate enough to track my improvement yieldwise. But for each their own...

lol...I have always prided myself in being able to judge out a zip pretty damn close.
I never messed with beams or anything, just eyeball a sack out. If a man don't like that at the price stated, then by all means we go find some triple beams and weigh the sack...if it is light we make it right, if it's over though...we still make it right, but it costs a few bucks more. Now...wanna go find beams or do we have a deal?


I always figured the term "ounce" was just a guide anywho. Hell, when I was a kid we used to get a coffee can lid piled full of it for $15. (that's about a 1/2 ounce btw)

@ DISCO: That lady is really stretching. compared from the last pic post on page 532 to this on here damn!! shes really becoming a beast inside that cab If you have enough room you can press the stem firmly in-between your pointer finger and thumb until it gives way but DOESN'T snap and just tie it onto the outter part of that screen. it will also help with whatever internodal growth get light to produce some nice nuggets. Just a little food for thought

@ sLai*: Sweet grow cab man and nice choice of strains. i noticed that you had a few of the plants inside 2 liter bottles and they bottles are transparent. You might want to cover them up with like some FOIL TAPE (cost like $3.00 USD). The light can cause mold growth in soil and algae in Hydro systems. Dont want to put in all that hard work to lose it. thought it might help. Other then that cant wait to see them fully bloomed! Gonna be some dank ass bud! keep that thumb green!

I didn't root the cuttings because I have too many seeds to crack.

I liked ZV. Very strong and very consistent. Two expressions. The early pheno is done in 56 days and is a heavy producer. The late expression needs ~65 days, buds are dense and more compact. If you like indica you should enjoy ZV.

yea im more of a Indica type of person but every once and a while a sativa does the job just right. you see the hindu zombie yet?

yea that hindu Zombie from what some others have told me is one of the best KUSH crossed Strains they have smoked. they said that they pretty much when into a indy (indica) coma after the frist rip. that sounds like something i need to reckon with. Always down to get infected by something (except dirty girls and mexi-brick) hahahaha.

But heres a few pics i took before my lights went off yesterday. Strated flowering her on 6-2-11 so its been 22 days under the 150w HPS!!!!!!!!!

@ VINTNER: that 1 lady is stacking in a 5 gallon DWC. she was vegging for about 2 months or so. Gonna hit her with some of her pollen (SOMA's ORGANIC FEMINIZING METHOD) to make fem seeds and donate em to SB. Shes a killer strain i was lucky to get my hands on from a friend. Smoked it once outta a temecula Despense a while back and when a friend of mine was like i got some HOGS BREATH you want the seeds. you guys know what i said OFC! hahaha.

But i do agree Vintner.... everyone is really stepping up there A game with pics and crops!
THATS HOW US 150wers DO IT!!!

be on the look out got some G-FORCE (FEM and its a G13 hybrid) from FLYING DUTCHMEN growing up as we speak. Im ready to pull some f'n G's!
