Anybody have any resources that can keep the humidity levels up? Like an easy to make humidifier?
1: If you have room in your grow box, put a bucket or pot or bowl in front of a fan. 2: Get a cheep fish tank air pump and stone and a small bowl of water. 3: Water your plants more frequently. 4: If your not in flower, folliar feeding will jack up your humidity, and can be done several times a day if you don't actually "feed" every time you mist. Be mindful of mold with higher humidity levels though. It really sucks to check on your grow a week or so before harvest and there's mold on your bud that you worked so hard and waited so long for. Just my 2 cents, or 4 actually LOL.

igrowdadankest: Those are nice lookin buds friend. How big is the pot you've got her in? Do you adjust the pH of your water?

If you're worried about the PH, just pick up one of those cheap solution testers (under 10 bucks) and test the runoff, they work just fine, even though some people claim that they don't. They must be colorblind or something !

can i join this club? lurking, reading for over a year, now i need more help

e-cono 150, panasonic whisper110cfm, home made scrubber, 15x30x42" reflectix lined. pure blend pro grow soil, pbp bloom, pbp liquid karma, ph adjusted, x2) 1 gal bags of probably 60% ffof,40 perlite.

ok so i ran through some bagsed and everything was good, i got what i thought was a cal deff. so i folarfed with lime as i read to. but i think i let it go to long as lots of bigger fans were already dead brown inches in from leaf tips. fed and the little brown spots stopped spreading, however on prolly the top 1/3 of the girl is still burning ,turning brown, in between the vienes of the leafs. my temps are about lowest 65f at night to 85f+- . is this damage from temps too high? or is it from hotspots from the light?

thanks in advance for the help

On my first run with bagseed I let 'em get 50% amber and see how I like it,then adjust it to my preferences next run.Have you sampled any popcorn? My mexican bagseed USUALLY finishes from bottom up.I'll sample some to see if it's gonna be a very racy anxiety producing type.If so I like to let it get more amber trichs to tone down the heart palpitations some. :D
Any ideas on what you got or where it came from?I hardly ever get a bagseed that finishes under 70 days.
Peace

by my count you are at 8 weeks as of yesterday (saturday 1/5)

I would recommend that you wait another 2 weeks (10 weeks total = 70 days as hardhat said as well  )

By the picture I see she is fattening up nicely, but still putting out many white (fresh, new) pistals - this signifies she is still putting energy into growing more flower clusters and should be allowed to keep going.

I expect she'll really fatten up and shine in the last few weeks for you.

I always found the old school jorge cervantes method of telling by the pistals to be the best way to tell when ready - you want at least 75% turned pistals before you harvest - or if she just keeps putting em out you want the rate of pistal color change to be same as new pistal creation.

Also calyxs tell a good story - watch them swell and when they just start to contract is another good time to chop.

If you have not already begun flushing I suggest you start now - flushing with a little carbs (molases or sugar in the raw - no more than 0.5 tbs per gallon) and fulvic acid really helps bring out flavor and smooth smoke - (fulvic aids in translocation and the carbs help to add some weight and power the plants final pushes - also most final flush/finishing products are just water and sugars of some sort)

Wuz up growerz? Just received a late Christmas present in the mail today:

This cabinet has white laminate and will probably be suitable for reflection. Since I have to put it together, it would be real easy to cover the interior with reflective mylar beforehand.

Does anybody wish to lend their advice? If reflective mylar is better, I'll go for it. Otherwise I'll just leave it white. Thanks

I second that. Leave it white. Its almost as reflective and alot easier to maintain.

I think flat what paint is around 94% reflective and mylar is around 97% but mylar creates hot spots.I would just leave it all white if I were you.
