OK - I figured out what my camera problem was, I needed white balance to counter the flash a bit.

Pheno2 is the one that looks a bit more mature, Gonna cut the feeding to one light dose of Fox Farm Bloom, then straight water till finished in about 2 weeks or so.

Pheno1 looks to be the keeper, at least from a yield perspective. Looks more Sativa too which is my pref. Gonna hit that one more time with Iguana Juice, Big Bud and Carbo Load, then one light feeding with the FFB, and then water flush for the duration.

Anyway, enough yap here are some new shots:

Pheno2 on the left, 1 on the right

Now some indivudal shots - these things are just seeping right now. :canabis:
Pheno2

The rest of these are Pheno1

FJ thanks for checking in~Best thing about it is you get to mess with your plants alot. Good for those who have got to spend a lot of time in the grow!

Wow what a beautiful SCROG you have going here! I may have missed it or not, but did you say how large the screen holes are? I can't really tell what you're using, but it looks like green twisties??? Thanks!

Peace

Sally thanks for checkin in- They were about 1.5 in x 1.5 in when the whole thing started. I ended up moving the holes all around trying to keep an even canopy. Yup, it's that green twistix shit you can get at home depot. A roll of plastic twistie basically.

Skeezo - I appreciate the kind words. I'm prety surprised how well the 150 is doing. I can't complain!

Well there are advantages to joining a thread late, I've had no waiting around to see how things look further on down the line, and they look yummy, with a 150w light you've done a good job there, I take it in the end you decided to top them and thats not all just naturally branchy.

Thanks for visiting GMT.

Actually, those were never topped! They were clones of a plant that was pretty far along in flower. The clones basically had a small bud set already. So when I cut them back to veg, they got realllllly bushy. Like a branch off of every pistil it seemed. Ended up being perfect for SCROG. Might be an interesting technique to try again, cept that it took FOREVER to kick them back into veg.

150 dude yep, does the trick it seems. I am surprised too. CO2 helps alot.

Day 50

Day 50

Thanks Calcio  - it's a cool technique for the small scale operation for sure. Could be a pain in the ass for normal setups though. Gotta have time to maintain the screen, which is easy for 2 plants.... not so easy for 10 I would think. I've never grown scrog on a large scale before. Larger set ups I usually just trained the plants by bending them over and tying the top to the trunk.

So on with the update at day 50.

The Indica pheno is ready to go, but I wanted to give it one more shot of plain water. It's still pretty wet from the last watering though... I'm torn between cutting it after it gets completely dry (so that would have been one flush with plain water) or giving it one more flush, pushing the harvest out at least 7 days from now. I think they are peaking right now, so I am leaning towards cutting it down this weekend after a 36-48 hr dk period. It had only FFB on the last feeding before the first flush so I think it will be OK - a good cure is more important to me. If they arent overferted you usually dont have problems with residual stuff in the buds. You can see the fan leaves are yellowed a bit so that is a good sign.

Indica

The Sativa Pheno - Some people might even take this now. I am looking at day 60 as the farthest this will go now. Starting to cloud up nicely and I saw a few amber. Still mostly clear and cloudy right now. One more shot of plain water and this one comes down when dry.

Sativa

Check out the flower pix forum for some more individual budshotzz.

The Indica pheno has been cut down at 51 dayz. Dry yield on this screen was 29.8 grams. Looks like I will be pretty far off of 4 oz and probably wont hit 3 this round either. The other screen will yield more as it filled out better.... cutting that down at 58 dayz most likely, which is this Friday.

To get the yield up there are a few things I want to try next time I do a SCROG.

1. In any case, I need to get the light turned around. The reflector is turned the wrong way, but that's the only way I can fit it in the box right now. I am going to cut a space out of the back so I can fit it in there right. I'll have to build some sort of light trap where the adjustment is made. This will get better light to the edges of the screen. I may even be able to fit a third screen in if I ad a CFL on each end.

2. After the plants get big enough to put the screens on, I am going to top them to allow the roots to grow some more, then once they get big enough again, on go the screens. The root system wasn't as big as I expected. Hopefully the Pirhana and Tarantula will help too next time.

3. I needed to do a little better job of cutting the smaller shit out from right under the screen. I thought I got most of it, but there was still a good bit on the indica pheno. This cut the top bud size down, which I would have liked to be a little bigger. The other screen has bigger buds, and pretty much nil growth under the screen.

So here are a couple shots of the harvest on the Indica pheno, a last update with final yield after the weekend . I called this an indica pheno because of what I had read on an OG grow report, but the high is classic sativa. More details in an upcoming smoke report - great for 51 dayz.

That looks like some good stuff. The yield seems to be about the same as mine was. Nice trunks on them
