sorry for the teaser but i am already late to my brother's in-laws thanksgiving dinner because i smoke a bowl of super ice and time sort of dissolved. haha so no pics until later today.
but good news, the bottom nugs were way harsher. the bowl i just smoke was right next to the cola, and it tasted not bad at all. and i'm high as foghat.

not having any luck with the pics. have to wait i guess.
smoked some of the cola tonight. tasted a lot better, and got me real stoned, but i am ready to try one that's been properly flushed. lesson learned on the early takedown. lol but its better than paying a c-note.

flushing nicely now. and as for the one i pulled early, smoke report gets better the higher up the plant goes. top buds tasted nice and have a long-lasting smooth high. probably finish off the cola tomorrow. then around next thursday the chop!

(hazy, what up g. thanks for the post lol... and i think the girls fattened up probably 10% in the last week alone - i love it!)
here we go. if you recall, the original plan was to chop one last week, let the others flush another week, then harvest. so here are the pics from my first harvest (ever!)

she was stunted pretty good, losing most of her fan leaves from overwatering back during the crowded drainage tray debacle, and i only flushed less than a week, but the bud was ready...
and the results after chop
total dried weight was 3.8 grams! haha not bad for a teeny little bugger.
the smoke was harsh, like expected, but got much better with the cola. my friend smoked some without knowing it was mine and said it tasted pretty good, so i guess i'm a little harsher critic (no pun intended lol). the high was without a doubt good.
in fact, it was so good i smoked the whole plant in a few days.
haha so this morning i chopped another one down. the hairs were almost all red and drying up, trichs about 70/30 cloudy amber. here she be:
i expect at least a quarter off her dried. hopefully more. the cola is dense as hell and dank with trichs:
after the chop, i plucked a couple bottom nugs and dried them in the oven. i can tell the additional few days of flushing (as opposed to the first plant) did wonders for taste. even smoking an oven-dried bottom-dweller nug it still tasted smooth. and i am definitely baked. lol my eyes are shut, and my whole head feels light and a kind of gentle woozy. it's very nice, and has been going strong for about an hour now. good high. can't wait to get to next week's harvest, with a proper flush and proper dry/cure this shit might just be top-notch... and i am excited to try the chrystal too. good times.
that's it for the first harvest(s)! hope all is well, grow green and grow free my peoples

Looks like all is for sure well in your neck of the woods man!!! Killer shots, sooo frosty I can't believe it! Where are you getting you strains did you take clones off those in flower now? Great work, and hell yes a better flush is gonna be awesome, you did wonderful work with those flouros, gets a freakin HPS in a box now!!! PEACE

strains are Chrystal and Super Ice, from Buydutchseeds.com (the online descriptions are exactly the same as nirvana seeds... probably just charge a few more bucks to turn a profit). and yup, i've taken clones for sure. i'm down to just one phenotype of each, though, so hopefully the ones i ended up with are bomb. i had more, but the spider mite fiasco took its toll. at any rate i've got the two strains going well, with some more clones waiting on standby to go in the dirt. even have one jack herrer (so i was told) in week two of veg, hopefully a female so i can keep that flavour around!

the lack of heat from Flouros has always intrigued me. so ive been thinking about a cab with full length fluros from top to bottom in all 4 corners, and some extras on top.
you think this would be possible o'flouro master?....
all i ever heard was "dont bother growing under fluros... youll never get anything"
but my friend, you have proved them all wrong, and infact have started my brain ticking over with a few ideas..........

hey guys, just pulled down another super ice. this is one of the best looking buds i've ever seen, the pics don't do it's color justice. smells fuking beautiful. can't wait for it to dry out. enough yip-yap, here are the pics!
smoked a little nug right away... taste is getting better with each plant. got almost five grams off the last one. so this one i think might be just at a quarter, maybe higher... probably won't see much weight at all until the LST'd girls come into play. think i might have to start scrogging at some point, but we'll see. would be a lot of work with the clones, but i think i could get some serious bud under the t5's.

holy fark me. i just waked-and-baked (woke-and-boke?) with a little bit of nug that fell off the main cola of the really gorgeous plant i took down yesterday. when i was trimming the leaves, i got a little too close and a bowl-sized nug of pure fluffy cola fell off (how convenient haha). it dried out completely after one day, so after taking care of my watering and applying for a few jobs online this morning, i packed it up. unbelievable, this is some of the best pot I've ever seen and/or smoked. must be killer genetics, so if anyone out there wants a good smoke try Super Ice, from Nirvana (or Buydutchseeds.com if you want to pay more 
).
