I had a male blue satellite that produced some female flowers and pollinated itself after two years of being rootbound in a small cup. The seeds produced plants that were crazy looking sterile unusable freaks.

No it was just the male and he was a total freak so you are right selfing those genetics probably just ampliflied the crazinesss. But it is the same thing you are describing so you may encounter some sterility issues.

i guess what i meant to say were those seeds male and female? i actually have some s1 seeds from my male and have yet to grow them out. i was basically trying to decide if i should continue with them or just quit trying to take shortcuts.

No you nailed it Circadian Clock, https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=231950 , traits are inherited separately, differing inputs. Sterility, red headed stepchildren, cerebralness, everything you can think of, mostly, all different, separate. Very few of these are relationships are even casual let alone causal outside of the stoners mind.

They are one in the same, is what I am saying. There is no such thing as male S1's

Charles Xavier once said it too, it struck me as weird at the time as well. But if a plant can bear seed, it's female. I have a sneaking suspicion this is true in regards to their sex chromosomes. It was like the only decent thought Nevil ever had too, that fucking weasel.

I found two seeds in a recent harvest of a tahoe og plant. The resulting seed plants were both genetically (as far as I could tell) male. I have yet to see one female flower, and the plants are about two weeks or more in to flowering. I will see soon if there is any pollen, and whether this pollen is viable or not.

TomHill, is it possible the sex mutated to better suit the environment, which was lacking males? I thought this was normal in landrace strains for example, when a farmer was removing males, that inevitably female plants would reverse in sex naturally, in order to repopulate the gene local pool. So in essence, in the case of my two Tahoe S1s, they are genetically female (hence S1) but the gene expression mutated the plants to produce males out of environmental stress -- the lack of male plants in gene pool. Tough to narrow it down as there are too many variables though.

No I can't see it happening. I have heard friends/colleagues state otherwise, but I am still waiting to hear the whole story. I believe males will segregate into the typical mendelian ratio.

get way more in touch with your manhood, any problem with sexuality is a womanly problem, a man is a man, period. A woman on the other hand, can have mustaches and all kinds of other manly nightmares. When we decided it was a mans world it was not without reason. Blame women, or canada or some other thing, but no, men and women are not equal. Now you may all get into line, follow nature, and bow before us, as you use to, when things were better lol.
