I had a couple of phenos that looked just like that in the love potion haze from cultivator's choice. So small calyxes. They were a Columbian body like stone for me(made oil out of it. And there sure wasn’t much sigh) put me to sleep really well. I took the whole plant in one sitting lol. Only made 2 grams of oil on the first wash lol. Slept better than I had in a long time.
the more racy stuff noids me out if I take that much oil from the high flying stuff. Followed by sleep. I culled them too. I didn’t like growing something for 6 months only to get two uses out if it lol. I take oil every day in the evening. Anyway, it yielded shite so bad I couldn’t justify it.
i just don’t smoke a lot these days due to tolerance to oral oil daily and the fact that I am a runner and run 6 miles a day at the least. Today I ran 6 miles in 1 mile increments on the treadmill and I got all 6 under 7 minutes. I do a 1 minute break between each mile. Anyway, I don’t like much in my lungs besides air these days.

I found some with that trait. I've not yet found any that are good enough to ever grow again. It's where the hay tag came from IMO. Ill start with these.

The look of the flower plays no roll in the quality of the smoke that's genetic i have found plants with flowers with that look that were some of the best smoke i have come across and some i would call hay to.

Here's what's left in my tupp-O-haze container.

Outback Haze 1 keeper looks exactly the same , crazy looking and mad exotic High , maybe the purest Sativa i have ever smoked, last like 6 hours , i was still smoking in that 6 hours but whatever i smoked just brought the Outback Haze High back again , mad High , felt like someone cracked an egg over your head if that makes any sense , crazy High imposible to describe , but nothing like Nevil Haze High.

i call it the wild pheno and defo not for 99% of growers as real wild and expierienced sativa growers will only be able to tame it .

I definitely couldn't grow it correctly. I'm new to sativas and was worried about giving her too much nitrogen, but then didn't give her enough. I was able to bend her over and around and weirdly had enough room for her, but my lack of fertigation skills had some of her pistols and leaves crispy and brown, while still pumping out mad amounts of new white pistils.
My goal is to find one if these "classic" energetic, uplifting sativas.
either I've never been able to get some in my bowl, or my body just doesn't work that way.
Some of my friends say they get different effects from my flowers, but with me I either feel it or not. I've never had any bud that made me sleepy Everytime I smoked it. With me it's more setting. If it's end if the day it makes me relaxed, If Its morning and I got shit to do, I'm doing it

How many weeks, and how's the smoke?

I think it was 129-130 days of bloom.
I'm not good at smoke reports and descriptions.
but I'll say this.. the smoke sucks. I was hoping for sativa buzz, but nothing different from what I'm used to.
Has a slight lemony smell, but not as strong as her sister. And if I'm looking just for that lemony smell I have other strains that take that smell to much higher limits. The Malawi x Panama smells better.
This could all be because I didn't grow her right, but her sister was much better overall.

Doesn't matter what we grow all need to be smoked before they're tossed. I've found plenty that looked like poo but smoked like heaven.

Is the high a creeper that comes on then backs off a little and then comes on stronger and you can feel and almost hear your hart beating you start to feel hot as the high starts to come on ?.

Your selling your self short CannaRed you grew the Haze well and i am not sure if it was your first go at a sat or heavy sat line but they turned out well from what i can see.

I haven't grown too many sativas. Purple Satellite, Bangi Haze, Todd's OHaze, and Malawi x Panama. All the phenos I grew smelled very similar except Purple Satellite had totally different profile.

Sorry to hear the OHz didn't live up to your expectations.

I have some early harvested (9 weeks) and not even dry (70rh) MadMac OHzs1. I choose this over properly dried and cured Ace - Malawi and a couple Key Lime Pie hybrids I have on hand.

Just like Mac promised super addictive!

Regardless of the smoke your pic looks killer bro!

I do note my MM OHzs1 has very few pistils while both todd OHz and Sam's OHz seem too have lots. Anyone else notice this as well?

That's because for some reason we have bred that hairy stuff out, Golli and me.
Should also not be called "Mac's" OHS1, which would mean it is Mac's OH selfed. Or an inbred OH that got selfed. That it is not.
It is an outcross of first generation JohnnyOH to GolliOH.
"Golli x JohnnyOH" feminized.

This is Double Jam F2 from Magic Herbs from last year
I call it escarole, it is a beautiful lettuce. Same high as lettuce when smoked, but it made a very delicious hash. It looks like that and I suspect the plant CannaRed shows must make some incredible hash

I had this season the opportunity to grow side by side SMOH and the MadMac(MMOHz) crosses Golli Hz(GOHz) x Johnny Hz(JOHz) and JOHz x GOHz
SMOH might take more time to be ready, it might yield a gram or two less than MMOhz but I didnt see any difference in more or less hairy on the finnished product outdoors
SMOH girl 3, she was chopped 12 days after winter solstice. Picture is from 4 days before solstice

I am suspecting these crosses must make an amazing hash
JOHz x GOHz girl 1 from cut, yesterday was finally dry and now is in the jar. Picture is from 4 weeks before harvest. Going to test it in a couple of months. I am veeery curious if SMOH and MMOHzs smoke the same or different

I did hear in the old times they use to select for abundant pistils in the mistaken belief they were responsible for the pyschoactivity. Glad to hear you didn't make the same mistakes

Well many thanks to yourself, Golli and Mac for breeding this beauty. Very easy to grow, lots of trichs, large buds (for a Haze), respectable yield and quality smoke.

Only wish you guys were nearby to share this with me. Oh well guess I'll just have to smoke it all myself jeje

The sharing might have been initiated by Golli and me.
But without the people of the sharing, our OH's would still be undiscovered.
We are all part of it. Some more and some less. But we all are.

You might not be able to share your OH with us, but you can and should do it with other people.
That is the concept.

Also there have been a lot of wrong believes, regarding the Haze in the past. That luckily, we seem to have successfully ignored when we have preseved our OH's. Also when we shared them. And the true difference is that in the 2020's we are finally seeing a lot of Hazes getting grown. No matter if they are from Tom Hill, Todds, Oldtimers, us or whoever. We are all contributing and providing documentation like never before.

Apropos documenting:
Somebody has reported pepper terps from the OHS1.
The plant looks also almost exactly like my Seedsman metal ibl.
That's good news for those who are looking for the anti-depressant OH high in OHS1 that is a great tool to select a female from without having to grow the males.
Quality is there too, as you do confirm.
