I had a look at that link and found it kind of funny-

When I gave it back to chemdog in 2006 it seems that he hadn't had it in a good while, and I heard that he didn't have it long after that...So how and when did the original cut get passed Around? I know it was stolen from my friends house (RIP) around 2000 in cottage grove, OR... I never forget anything. I'm sure some of the NY crew has it still. I was told "DON'T ever give this to ANYBODY" and I'm a man of my word. So that's what's up. I gave it to 5 people over all these years

DON'T ever give it to ANYBODY.... so i only gave it to 5 people. :D

The rest of that post goes on to say that he was worried the strain would die out, as there were so many fakes and BS going around that the 91 was getting a bad rap. Might be a BS justification, but I don't think so.

Anyone want to chime in on which "chem" cut this one is? She's straight diesel fuel oil smell and tastes the same - I can taste diesel on my lips and taste it on my exhales while breathing for quite some time after smoking her.

old fans on the bottom of the SKVA look just like the finish on the indoor SKVA.

So need to do a ogkb x that va . My Ancestral skunk times your ogkb were off the hook . Had a buddie that is more of a Extract/pen smoker. Lay on ground for 10-15 min after trying to finish a bow lol . Every one that tried it said it was in there top smokes of all time .

This Chem '91 Skunk VA will close out the outdoor season towards the end of October:

wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==

This is the same plant I posted earlier that was harvested a few weeks ago. I'm starting to learn about her requirements and this one is looking much better than the last one (first time I grew her).

I'm no expert but like I said do some digging and you will see how CSI got their cut and Top Dawg as well. Best sources if you want the best. Cryptic? BS!? That's funny. Nothing cryptic about giving free advice to those wondering. The Bubba I grew came from the same friends that carry the original Catpiss and Dogshit outa NorCal/South. Or. Great cut for sure. Pure coffee dank.

looks fantastic, with exception to those leaves. Good Work!! :woohoo::groupwave::rtfo: :hotbounce

"looks fantastic...Good Work!!"

Agreed - Hammerhead grew that out beautifully!

"with exception to those leaves"

I prefer the healthy look - rather than the crunchy look, lol. If SKVA, 'Nspecta, etc. grew their clone like I do mine - their plant would no longer have that crunchy look - in opposition to what is commonly thought, it's quite unnecessary.

Hammerhead's pic is a good example of a nicely grown one - there's very little of that crunchy look - just a small fade on the fans, probably due to flushing at the end of flowering.

My pic was an example of what she can look like when she's foliarly fed with full strength nutes every two days (in addition to root nutes), the night time temps dip into the low 50s F. every night and she's not flushed. It's the recipe for no crunch on the leaves and their deep green/blue/purple coloration.

I've been running a pack of the Chem 91 S1 from CSI:Humboldt and just wanted to share some of what I've got going on from my pack. Currently, I'm at day 44 of flower. I didn't do them any favours in regards to their natural issues with nute sensitivity and not being fans of too much light. They looked pretty great (albeit slow) until I threw in another light (720W QB in 1.4x1.4m). The pistil development was extremely slow and the one cut took 4 weeks before showing any real signs of flower development. I fed them fairly moderately, which in hindsight should have been toned down too, I didn't really push over 2.0ec, but I plan to run them in soil next time to give them a bit more control over their uptake.

Living in South Africa, I've never been able to get my hands on the real deal to compare. So I popped these as the next best thing. Any input from those who have handled the SkunkVA cut would always be welcome.

Chem 91 S1 #1

One of the most vigorous of the cuts both in veg and rooting as cuts. The #1 has a mild leathery fragrance with some musk. Nothing really to write home about when rubbing some lower sugar leaves, but it is starting to colour up quite decently. Not the worst looking so far but not really impressing toooo much.

Chem 91 S1 #2

The #2 cut is by far more favourite so far. Even early on into flower there was something unique about her. She's got a bit more of a dense (comparatively) nug structure and the terps coming off of her are absolutely mind-blowingly alluring. There is a strong lemon cleaner/lemon fuel coming off of her. There is also better trichome production on her. Overall she's really impressing over most of the others. It's still far from a good grow this round, but I'll definitely run her again and see what she does with less feed and a bit less light.

Chem 91 S1 #3

The #1 had aggressive variegation since the first true leave came out from the seed. Regardless of the feed, it retained pretty aggressive variegated leaves along the one half of the plant. The lack of chlorophyll in the variegated parts caused them to quickly become damaged by windburn after it grew into the line of the oscillating fan. This individual cut seemed even more sensitive to feed than the rest, as evident by the even more than normal leaf curling. The buds themselves aren't too bad looking, a bit more solid than some of the other phenos, a bit more trichomes and just less aggressive foxtailing. Smell on her isn't as strong as the #2, but in the same ballpark, also with a slightly leathery/musky element.

Chem 91 S1 #4

The #4 is another slightly more impressive pheno, quite similar to the #2 in a lot of the growth traits but it doesn't have those same mindblowing sugar leave rubs that the #2 does. Will be monitoring it though and seeing what she puts out as she matures. The leaves are slightly different from the #2 though, the #2 had a very unique look to the leaves in the first few weeks of flower while this looked more similar to the other cuts in that general expression.

Chem 91 S1 #5

This one looks like an extremely long flowering pheno. You can see how far it is behind the others, this is the cut that took a month before it really started to throw pistils. So far I really don't get much off of her. She's a slightly smaller plant but also very leafy.

Chem 91 S1 #6

An absolute monster of a plant. The #6 cut is about 6 inches taller than everything else and just had a massive vertical stretch going into flower, though it still has relatively close internodal spacing. A bit similar to the #5, being a much slower flowering cut and also very leafy, which isn't really putting much out there for me to smell yet.

Chem 91 #7

The #7 is one of the airiest of the bunch, with some really whispy buds so far. On the nose, she's also just got a leathery and musky scent with maybe some gas in there, but nothing like the #2 which opens up the sinus. Nothing much to report on her.
