Dimebagg: Im gonna let the strain tell me when its done.I figure that the strain dictates the high more than the trichomes so im gonna let them get good and ripe. I still am seeing a lot of pistils popping out. I figure buds are still swelling. Im gonna watch more things than the trichs this time.

Lundale: Not using any at the moment. Havent needed any for my current settup.Heres a link to what I would use if I was.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Building a clone and mom box. I can fit 8 square 1 gal pots in each tub. Thinking of trying a sog run with no heavy training.Which would be perfect for clones.

Just supercropping at the veg stage to slow vertical growth and strengthening the stalk . All 8 would grow up next to the lights and could be rotated a 1/4 turn every day for better and even penetration.



Just a thought.

Ive learned that there's multiple rounds of pistol development. Which means most folks seem to cut a little early. Do you have to go by trichs alone or is overall development the key?

All right folks today is harvest day for the purple pimp. Took her to 73 days. Cut a branch a week ago to sample the high. After hang drying it till crispy stems. I smoked it and it was so dank. Very medi. to tell you the truth I wasnt prepared for it. It knocked me out. Trichs are 90% cloudy. No amber. Heres some shots

Gonna let plant number 1 go at least a week more. Ill have dry weight and nug porn next update

Bloody gorgeous my friend. It's crazy how many other forums on the net have people, who claim you can't pull a fat crop outta some rubbermaids with cfls.

With growing being /that/ cheap, it's a wonder everyone under the sun isn't doing it. Then again, maybe a lot of folks, like me, can't construct even what you consider a simple cabinet. =)

Thanks red. I backed off on the n very early. And never really fed full strength period.

I didn't get any amber trichs at all on my first grow, I kept waiting and flushing and waiting, no amber ever. I'm 90% cloudy on my grow now and scheduled for another 2 weeks before harvest. I might speed it up though if I don't start to see any amber, what gives?

Nice grow you have there, I pulled 2 1/4 ounces from my first grow using dyna-gro nutes. This round I got dutchmaster advanced and they are much more plump.

From what I learned cloudy is most potent from strain. Also some strains dont show amber. Id watch overall bud development and if its not going anywhere and its been forever Id just start the flush.

Pretty much what I did.

I figure trichs only show one side of the picture. Theres other factors as well.

When it looks ripe your done.

I think it just shows that sometimes. And i repeat sometimes. you dont have to spend alot money too get some great smoke.

This strain is already the one of the best ive smoked.
