Hello. Never wanted to have to post here, but I need some help!
First time shot at organics, mostly good, but I have some kind of deficiency popping up. Some one please help, TIA. I will post better pics, but I cannot seem to upload any ,keep getting error messages.

What STRAIN are you growing? - H3ads Casey Jones

What was the establishing technique? - seed

What is the age of your plants? - ~3 weeks

What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? - seedling, vegetative

What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) -N/A?

What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) -6x6 square pot,1 per

What substrate/medium are you using? (percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) - 6 parts pro mix, 2 parts worm castings,2 parts perlite, 2Tbs. dolomite lime per gallon.

What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* - Watering with tea made from 2.5 gal water,1/2 cup earth worm castings, 2 Tbs. B/S molasses, 20ml "Marinis" seeweed extract, per 2.5 gallons(2-2-7), some1/2 strength "Dr. Hornbys Iguana Juice Grow(3-1-3), 5ml per gal. Liquid Karma

What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used?- N/A?

What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?- I don't get much

What method of pH test was administered?-N/A

When was your last water?-Today

When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? Above described tea, every other day,or when needed.

What size bulb are you using?- 400w with cool tube

What is the distance to the canopy?-~ 18-20"

What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity)-~60

What is the canopy temperature?-~76

What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)~ +/- 8deg.

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) -Plenty!

Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? - Not wet, damp

Is your water HARD or SOFT? - ~100ppm

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? - no

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? - no

Are plant's infected with pest's? - Had a couple of Thrips, condition was evident before, though. Thrips were dealt with by cucumaris.

There are a few things happening there and Zinc appears to be one of them (that wrinkly-leaf look), along with Mg (intervenal yellowing).

But whatever the mechanics behind it, I've seen this before caused by a sustained, heavier application of seaweed extract and would bet $50 that's your cause right there.

20ml is a heavy dose (not super-heavy, but it's a strong dose) and then when you factor in the Liquid Karma, which contains yet more seaweed extract you're going to see some problems. Seaweed is a strong catalyst.

Again, not sure exactly how it works, but that looks to me like classic over-application of seaweed.

Ease up on the seaweed extract (maybe keep the LK in there, but lose the 20ml of the other seaweed extract product) for a couple weeks and I bet you'll see the plants perk right back up.

Good luck!

Thank you for your response.Th 20ml is per 2.5 gal of water.Does that seem excessive? Bottle calls for 2.5 mil per liter.

That's about 4 US teaspoons, correct? I use about that dosage- usually about 1 teaspoon per gallon, so it's a reasonable amount but:

1. I only apply the seaweed extract every third or fourth watering.

and

2. I have learned to just skip the seaweed extract during the first 3-4 weeks from seed because my seedlings ended up looking just like yours in the photo.

Hope that helps.

Dude ya that is to much for plants that size.... I would back that up and flush them out a bit, because they do have lockouts.

What substrate/medium are you using? (percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) - 6 parts pro mix, 2 parts worm castings,2 parts perlite, 2Tbs. dolomite lime per gallon.

Dude, that is totaly crazy for plants that damn size; all you need is tlet them do the growing for the first 2 weeks.

Flat out I do not know where to begin, because that is so much nutrients you are giving them let alone everyday I am hella surprised they are NOT burned to a crisp!

Dignan explained your issue; but now I am telling you how it was caused; your excessive feeding is what got them the way they are right now. To fix this issue I would run about 1/2 gallon of water through every 2 plants to throughly flush them out.

You need to leech the ecess nutrients out of that soil.

1 tsp a gallon is all you need, stop using the iguana juice and the LK for now; it's to rich for them, the rest you can use but use very carefully.
Do not feed them for a while let them recover first I would wait at least another week before feeding them.
How often are you watering them?
Your feeding does not need to be every day; you have slow releasing nutrients in your peat mixture.... feed every 7 days.

Plants can only take in the amount they need and leave the rest and when there is to much they get locked out, ph issues and nute burn; so let the babies grow a bit before you hit them with all that; that is way to much you are using as it is..... flush real good and wait a bit and feed lightly..... 1tsp a gallon of seaweed extract and molasses for now.... but I stress this is not a complete nutrient suppliment; you will need a little more micronutrients, get some epsom salts added to that mixture and you should be fine for vegging.

Thank You!

I THINK thoes plants are great looking.
good eye on the defs. only did it just start.
what i saw was the node distance....
and the SIDESHOOTS (even if ur not toping im sure u want large secondary colas)
you say ur 18-20 but maybe with only a 400 u might want to get closer...
my 600's are only a fraction stronger and with daystarA/C's (close enough in performance to a cooltube) i was way closer withoutburning, aswellas getting larger sideshoots. i dont know how you are for money, but from the clean-and-proper look of your grow id say a $20 lightmeter might help you.

this thingy is the one i use.
my hydroguy who i buy copiouse amounts of stuff from gave it to me for 15$.

anyways. i hope u have a show/diary i wouldnt mind seeing thoes healthy seedlings flower....

Here's a tip: Mix more fert, get more runoff, test ph of runoff. You are just guessing and knowing ph will give your plants the best chance possible.

You want 6.5 at the runoff. Fix your ph, keep it fixed, work on overfeeding issues, reap a great reward.
