The strong winds made its branches rest on the ground, it was like this for a few days before securing its branches on the same day of the photos with ropes to the structure under which it is, it takes it easy, medium growth, once it began to prepare for the flora to shoot up in growth although not in an exaggerated way, 10 days before starting to show the beginning of flowering I stopped its growth in half, coinciding with the cloudy humid and rainy days, but I think that these first weeks will give a considerable pull, it is now beginning its flowering, according to meteorologists, a rainy autumn is expected with relatively warm temperatures, I don't remember well the smell of its stem, but what I do remember is the acidic smell it gives off, I think I will take a couple of cuttings from her, I'm a disaster with cuttings... But I don't want to cry later for not saving something from her hehehe that acid incites me Dubi...

I see wonderful plants here, it seems that Panama predominates although you can see small differences between them, in general it looks very stable with two differentiated phenotypes although I hope to read many tasting notes here, law further back that it could have some intermediates I don't remember who
Enjoying these Zenith

Thanks @Herbert Chickybaby for choosing Zenith, Honduras and Panama for your current outdoor grow.
So, are you growing in Laos ? Love that country, it's calm life and vibes, its mountains, temples, and also for having most probably the best ganja in SE Asia, go to Vang Vieng if you have the chance and ask the local Hmong there.

To grow in a tropical climate it's both a blessing (constant warm temps, strong sun, neverending growing season) and a curse (short photoperiod, too much moisture), strains heavy in indica content will rotten easily in the tropical wet season after constant rains. After travellig around most part of SE Asia for the last 13 years, trying their local canna delicacies, i still firmly believe the best flowers come from Mediterranean coastal climate.
No Dubi, I'm not in Lao, I'm in Tieland, so we have to wear our best clohes at all times so it feels so hot always here, but yes, I am growing some Lao genetics and we are only 1 1/2 hours away from souhern Laos, so I'm sure they will grow great and has already. The Zenith is finishing up and did pretty well here. If it would stop raining here for a minute maybe I could relax and feel happy about it. I'm considering chopping her a week or two early, she is fine, no much bud rot, but that will change very soon, so today I was thinking I better act soon. She is the fast phenotype, but still throwing new pistils as of now, its week 12 since germination.

The Ace Honduras is doing very well here, about 7 feet tall, so over two meters high and filling out very nicely with buds not too dense so it is not getting moldy at all, smelling like liverwurst. The Panama sadly was, like the Zamal-Kali China, completely ruined by botryitis.

I have a new Zamal-Kali China in the second week that should do much better this fall and winter when it is cooler and dryer. This year has been really bad, the worst for rain and humidity I have ever seen in 11 years in the northeast here, so I do not fault the genetics at all, it grew very nicely till the end, really loved that plant, it was a joy to grow even though I only got a joint worth of smokable material due to bud rot. No worries, I still have a few more seeds and I have already germinated one for the new and better growing period starting now.

My best plant this year is the Lao Sa, from Real Seeds, it is a hybrid of Burmese, North Lao and Central and South Lao types that Angus's Lao ganja farmer friend created from various strains he has collected. Maybe you know it or have even tried to grow it. That one is 4 meters tall right now and flowering but unfortunaely or fortunaely, depending on how you look at it, it's a male plant. So the good part is we gonna get some Zenith-Lao Sa and Honduras-Lao Sa seeds which sounds very cool to me for next year.

So, as we enter the start of the prime growing season here we got: 1. Zenith to be harvested soon, 2. Honduras maybe in 3 weeks 3. Lao Sa entering final phase 4. Zamal-Kali China, week 2 5. Real Seeds Lao Gold, week 2 6. Khalifa Genetic's Lao Muang Singh week 2 7. Mandala Seeds Mountain Gold-Satori in week 2 which also was another very beautiful plant like the Ace Panama Red and Zamal-Kali China which got assasinated by the evil fungus Dr. Botryitis who kills my chilli peppers and orchids all the time too.

I will take some picures of the Lao Sa and Honduras soon, those are impressive enough to share. Happy harvesting ever one!

@dubi I think it’s pretty safe to say you should take this one off the “limited edition” list and make it a full time stocked strain.
What I’m seeing and smelling, especially in these last few days of flower is absolutely incredible. Every plant looks like a winner with great density and resin, great looking yields, and the smells are killer!
A lot of the Panama smells have started coming out, especially in the pheno 2 plants, but they all still have some sort of fruity bubble gum smell as well.

There are the two clearly distinct phenos you described that have both been easy to maintain so far, and one pheno that is kind of an in between the other two. It’s slightly more nutrient fussy in all stages, branches and spreads out more like the pheno 2x but it’s bud structure is more like pheno 1 and only looks a week behind my pheno 1 plants. It’s more fruity smelling than lemony smelling and has a nice incense to it as well.
The 2 plants that threw slight nanners in the beginning never popped another one after I pulled the first few right after transplant. Pretty sure it was the nutrient load in the soil I stuck them in that freaked them out a little or just a rougher than liked transplant.

I’ll definitely be running another couple packs of these.

Wow
after month in flo there I can say there are only from 3seeds two keepers , respect

probably zamal-thai ? pheno , agressive growth, smells like mango haze with grass and citrus undertone, more decent soft, still lovely smell on fingers ... what more I want? yea 😃
Pheno one , sog type, better louder terps towards mango carrot but also the great acid tone, zamal dominant ?

salute Dubi

Continua creciendo, sus ramas mas altas no dejan de estirar, aun que con flor, no tanta cantidad como en zonas bajas y medias , supongo que se igualaran cuando frene su crecimiento, Maravillosa...

Harvested my outdoor Isaan grown Zenith last week just before the last tropical storm hit us, under clear plastic 20 foot ceiling to help with rain, but still too humid to grow anything well or at all in some cases. The Zenith appeared OK, but upon harvesting I saw botryitis had already started to set in and under the nice green bud was a layer of browning gunge. The smell was inspiring so I looked through the 1/2 kilo or so bud and found a half ounce or so minimally affected, probably OK to smoke stuff. Bottled and in curing now, can't wait to try to it! It really does seem to be worthy of the name Zenith from the smell, nice and bitter, herby, cologne type smells in this particular terroir.

16 days since last picture. Now at 10 weeks from first pistil. No sign of slowing down. Soil was heavily amended with manures which have long ago been depleted. It's needed food for some time, yet continues to push the flowerings. Still taking a couple gallons of water every 2-3 days.
Dubi often recommends high nutrient levels throughout flowering, as he does with Zenith. Straight water throughout the grow and all this plant wants to do is reproduce and make babies.
How I grow doesn't allow for much stretch but this might be the 2nd pheno he describes. 10 weeks with plenty giddiup and go left makes me think it's the longer flowering pheno. Either way the buds are big, dense, sticky beyond belief and smells like a bouquet of mixed tropical fruit.

Some shots of the various Zenith. I get chewing gum (wintergreen, mint) off of these plants. Not a lot of fruit forward to my nose. Let’s see what happens in cure.
#5 looks like a cash croppers dream and of course I kept no clones, so crying dubi 😂. I will try and dig it out of its big pot, placed in smaller pot and keep some lowers for a reveg. Unlikely, but just from a productivity standpoint, this one is clearly leading the charge.

Thanks, Tang. These Zenith really produce. As voluminous as any flowers I’ve grown from Ace. They suffer a bit of caterpillar damage as I didn’t spray often enough. And we got unusual summer rains…so there’s a little bud damage but not so much that the yields will suffer too badly.

Over all was a nice cultivar to grow but just not overly impressed with the end product. Ok but nothing stellar. Two diff phenos grown, not incredibly tasty, Stoney enough but I’m a flavor guy and these just didn’t do it for me.

That's rather surprising, given how flavoursome both parents are. Were these grown from the original F1 seeds from Ace, or S1 seeds from your friend?

Ouch… upon inspecting things tonight I found 1 of the pheno 1 plants had a bunch of bud mold all through the top of 1 cola. I cut that plant and removed the damaged section. It was maybe 1/16 of the overall bud mass on the plant but it was one of the 2 main colas.
None of the others are showing any sign of it thankfully.

1-2 more of them are getting cut tomorrow.
