Looking dank as fuck Borderliner. How long did you flower them for?

The pheno I have is supposely Malawi/Thai leaning according to dubi, and I took her to day 121 before chop. Mine smells like sweet carrot and rose and sweet potato, earthy but floral at the same time...very complex and hard to describe. Have yet to do a smoke test though.

Very nice Zamaldelica cola Sativamane :)

Sweet carrot and refined terpene profiles like rose perfume is the direction where i'm bringing Zamaldelica since late 2014, with all the new breeding done in these last years. Please, let us know your opinion after a proper curing. Enjoy ;)

Hi akirabull :)

Nice to see you are still growing fine examples of Zamaldelica and Purple Haze Malawi, i'm very glad you rate these sativas enough interesting to keep them in your garden in current and future grows. Love the fatty foxtailed colas of your Zamaldelica ;)

Btw, did you have the chance to start the new genetics i sent you in winter ?

Welcome Wellandwitham :)

That's a real nice example of a well balanced Zamaldelica with clear and desirable traits from the 3 landraces used to produce this sativa: it has the small resinous ovaries from Gerrit's Zamal clone/mother, the chunkyness, high yield, fast flowering and tamed indoor traits of our more modern Malawi generations and a bit of Thai feeling too :)

Yours looks super well developed after only 8-9 weeks of flowering! ;)

hy dubi ,with this second run i did a final selection between two phenotypes i maintain of zamadelica and that one in the photos is really near to you description:

now is at 84 days from clone, i switch from 12-12 to 10-14 4 days ago because i need to hurryup a little bit ,did the final flush today.
purple haze malawi is the survivor of the 3 best ones selected, produce hard rock nugget, very heavy , really compact and strongly covered of thc ,on first run i harvest a decent bud where resin shines a lot but now is showing something more interesting ,definitely no fluffy buds. here start a soffocant hot summer and i can't induce colors this time from purple h but is for sure one of the dark ones.
yes for sure after harvest i will try new genetics you sent me with a little batch of thats of greats zamadelicas , an interesting neville i discover this winter and some durban, i'm really struggling with space so i'm doing miracles to maintaining ,selecting, trying, crossing, smoking :), ecc ecc... i have also panama packs, fem and cria, more zamadelicas, panama haze, all my crossing too but this is too much for next run and i will wait or associate some fastest strains in first run and slowers for second run. i need to think about a good strategy because i would like to do all but is quite impossible .

Thanks Dubi, she's been a pleasure to grow. Definitely vegged her too long! Didn't realise just how vigorously she'd grow and branch.

Very much appreciate you taking the time to pass on your knowledge on this strain. Just got to 10 weeks, time to start taking some testers :)

Here's a pair of Zamaldelica, cuts from the Z 01 I keep from the first release in 2013:

picture.php

In 16 ounce containers, un topped, flipped 57 days ago, so just about halfway.

The other Zamaldelica I have in flower is at 80 days, topped and vegged for a few weeks
and messy looking like an old worn out hooker, lol

Here is my Zamaldelica thread:

Stretch pretty much over and now bud building is the focus. Lovely plant and great for indoors too.
I made 4 clones all of which are doing superbly. Recently topped them.

@dubi,or others zam lovers, when do you think the autoflower pheno will be ready?at october/november,or before?

Hi there! I think the autoflowering pheno, with the most influence from the Zamal mother, is the quickest to flower, with harvest date somewhere around the middle of October, could be even a week or 2 earlier.
