Left the purple kalichina my Zamadelica (fem) 9 weeks flowering (indoor 11/13) very carroty sweet spicy smells, thin leaves nice structure.
Outdoor Zamadelica is on the front the other is the monster Malawi*Panama both (fem) look so wild sativas (brain drooling). They are at 7 weeks or 8 flowering.
My last Zamadelica was very similar on smells, really potent high, clear, psicodelic and racy love her (the cure reduce very much the speedy feling that make some a bit paranoid or overholmed but still energiser).

Zam: Follow-up from post 2909 and 3008

Getting very close now. :dance013::woohoo:

edit: difficult to say how many weeks flowering, but based on when light was reduced below 15 hours and down to 11 hours -where it currently is- I'd say somewhere between 12-13 weeks. Thoughts from growers experienced with this strain? Trichome porn on next page.

Funky squat Pheno with big fat cluster buds unlike my previous Zams which had Spear like buds and sativa dominant structure..
This one is like an Afghani almost, it is squat and columnar in growth structure. Resin is pissing out off the buds which again is like a dreamy Afghani.
There is the Zamal floral bouquet and extremely resinous terpenes which fascinate me each time I visit and sniff. There is a photo also of the Auto Zamaldelica alongside the FEM Zamaldelica for a comparative study in bloom.
Thank You ACE SEEDS, coming along nicely. Happy Growing to each n all! :)

wait the auto is the tall one correct?? crazyness

anyway you mixed those 2 up? short squat larger leafs sounds autoish to me. that or got shortest zamal ever and tallest auto ever at the same time lol. or maybe just a semi/non auto plant as that can happen too

Thanks for the interest. Indeed a rare expression. The Auto outgrew the FEM Zamaldelica.
Plus the auto is only getting the same 11/13 light dark schedule..
Just love how many phenols can come from a line. Only wish I could grow a larger population of plants and chase the phenos I am desiring. However I cannot and so I am more than pleased to get the variety of phenos my small grows produce.
Happy growing!

Looking very nice B. 1945
I think she is getting ready to chop at 12 to 13 wks of 11/13 light dark schedule. Go on the trichs for your personal preference. Early cloudy and 5 to 10%amber is my ideal picking as it gets a fresh sativa soar from it that then gets boosted and steadied into a long lasting stone with a kind of narcotic finish
If you like more amber and more down wait for a week or two. Enjoy your harvest:)

I was planning on harvesting a Zami or two this weekend but they started growing again and show no signs of giving up. I have been giving nothing but molassas for about 3 weeks now. Jesus I need the room, got more Jack Herrer's that need to go in the flowering room and Malawai.

Thanks, ULMW! I think she's around there. Difficult to say because I reduced the light schedule from 15/9 to 11/13 over about eleven days in early/mid January. She's close.

I think I'd like a bit more cloudy and amber than what she showed in these photos, but I think she may come down this weekend. These photos are from two days ago.

Thank you for the background on Zamal Dubi, very helpful.Lovely outdoors shots, what giants!

Here is Z-1 at 47 days of 12/12.She was transplanted into a five gallon pot and pruned/trimmed up right after these pictures were taken.

Coming from hydro is it normally acceptable to up pot during flowering? What are the signs? yellowing lower fans?

Best

Does anyone get itchy after crawling through their Zamaldelica grow? My arms get terribly itchy after coming in to contact with the leaves. I have a virtual jungle.

For long flowering strains, some folks prefer to transplant and provide more nutrients before the flowering plant gets too far into flower but after much of the stretch is over. I read a journal of an outdoor grower who vegged inside and transplanted outside, setting the fabric container directly into the ground. His plants grew wonderfully.

I'd say a tad before lower fans yellow too much, the moment you see your girl green fading and concentrated on hair throwing, means she's ready for up-potting.

Dubi has the last word of course...

These had an outstanding hybrid vigor (Golden Tiger x Panama) so they're less critical and faster than a Zamaldelica which has her own special flowering pace/stages, but shall illustrate.

By Aug 18th '19... the two (rightmost) started to consume the lower fans (80L pots):

Repotted on Aug 19th to 200L pots...

I'd say the key is watching your girl and repot at the first glance she's gone through her current pot already, watch out for typical signs: a change in growing pace, a change in hue, lower fans being consumed... if done right (soil has a balanced nutrient profile and isn't too hot, ph is right etc) they almost don't stop, sativas in fact are really active in rooting while in flowering.

I'd even say is part of flowering sativas right, encouraging them to focus on their roots at key moments like the one prior to bulk up in flowering... this will bulk up your yield

EM-1 or rhizotonic helps too at repotting time.
