Trichoderma will attack the Fusarium - if thats what it is.
A great option would be to keep hitting your olants with probiotics.
Sure, bleach can kill a lot of things, but it will leave your plants succeptible to other attacks. Think of bleach like a cancer patient taking Chemo vs taking FECO which would be the probiotic route. Get/brew some LABs and then apply PNSB, like EM-1. Hit the leaves and the soil

Were the rust spots on the leaves more of a discoloration?
When I had Fusarium, the leaves would change color - like a fully seeded bud fading or broad mite infection.

Please dont ever ever ever use chemical fungicides.

I agree, the bleach regiment is a stop gap, will apply
Trichoderma the 11th day, and go from there.

Not a rampant infection by any means, and will drop
the bleach sooner if results are true.

The plants culled were likely over watered and cooler temps
allowed the fungal infection.

The coco from the most recent cut plants is discarded,
and a complete wipe down has already been done.

Yes. Fusarium grabs foothold from anaerobic cold conditions. Too much nitrogen accelerates the problem/infection

No worries. Fusarium is not anywhere as bad as anyone, or as i used to, say.

This is the first time I had this symptom.

Leading up to this situation was a over dosing of PBP for a couple weeks.

Just glad i acted sooner than later, in the past I
would wait for plant issues to go away on their own.

The culled plants were cuttings from plants I still keep,
no genetics were lost.

The mum plants in veg are symptom free and the
one iffy plant in flower is seeded and will finish soon.

All the other plants in flower are healthy and symptom free.

Will apply the bleach two more times, every other watering,
then the trichoderma gets added.

I'm betting I caused the problem with an over dose of Nitrogen,
coupled with cooler temps and wet media.

The plants I culled were at 90+ days, lol.

How is your zamaldelicas doing?

The mum plant is growing well and I will take cuttings
soon for the spring/summer flower season.

The flower box is mainly reserved for the indica cross
I have in progress, but I will squeeze a Zamaldelica
in the box to flower.

The Zamaldelica I grow is from the first batch released in 2011.

It's a Zamal x Golden Tiger -> Zamal X Malawi/Thai

I suppose dubi should clarify to the use of "Golden Tiger" and "Malawi/Thai"
as Golden Tiger is Malawi x Hmong Thai .

So I figure Zamal x Golden Tiger -> Zamal x Golden Tiger.

Here is the intro thread by dubi:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=225380&highlight=zamaldelic

There were two main partitions in the batch, Thai leaning and Malawi leaning.

I have the Zamal/Thai, its fucking awesome.

Growing in a lifeless rubbermaid

@DC nice thread here :biggrin::tiphat:
After seeing your thread i found out about ace seeds and now i cant wait to try their tropical mix!:muahaha:

If you were growing this strain in a lifeless double 30 gallon/113.5 liter rubbbermaid what would you do to get the most yield and how would you suggest controlling the stretch?

I have 4x42 watt cfls for for veg and 10x9.5 watt screw in leds from lowes for flower. 2 gallon/7.5 liter smart pots that are about 8"/20.3 cm height and recylced organic living soil :dance013:

On controlling stretch, its a good idea to flower cuttings and train
early in veg for trellis or scrog.

This thread is a good read on the Zamaldelica in soil:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=302351

My coco yields are modest and should be viewed as on the
low side of yield potential.

I'm a casual grower, hobbyist, maybe I'll do a monocrop next fall to
test my skills at pushing yield, grams per watt what if.

I use 165W, pretty sure I could harvest six ounces in my cab.

Figure 16 plants, wide leaf types, SOG, about 10 grams per plant.

We'll see.

sounds awesome. what about later batches? like last year or two?

According to the Ace website regular and fem are
listed as Zamal x Malawi/Thai.

sigh.

More detailed information to be had browsing the Ace
forums here on icmag.

I remember reading dubi's posts in some of the threads
about the specifics of parents and such in the make up
of the recent releases, both fem and regular.

Cuttings taken of the Zamaldelica 01.

The previous run failed due to root rot, so I am
almost out these buds.

This plant likes the hot climate so if all goes well
I'll get some yield in a few months, lol

Cuttings rooted and transplanted in their coco cups.

There will be yield.

In about five months, lol

i like to do like blinx and prop the pots/containers up on containers and stuff, so they are really close to the lights, and progressively bring them down to the floor (to control the stretch). that and tying them down to holes in the container or low stress training.

also a good grow of it and malawi:
, spugg grows it with screw in LEDs.
if you filter posts by spugg,
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=334912&do=filter&fid=471776
it really pick up on the 2nd ,3rd and 4th page. and this post

makes me feel better

it looks like he fimmed or topped it, i didn't read through it yet

Decided to flip the mum plant and veg one of the
cuttings to become the next mum.

I'll flip the other cuttings in a week or so.

Pics when I get around to it.
