Zamaldelica x Kali China feminized

Finally getting to sample some 3 month cured ZxKC. All I can say is the first thing I did was order another pack of these. This really is that delicious of a strain that it is going to become a continuous plant in my garden. A+++ dubi!👍
I have my eyes on these, too. I have both Zamaldelica and Kali China separately and totally love both. On two or three occasions, I have mixed both flowers in my vape, something I don't normally do, but here it worked. The effect was different from either, unique. Very pleasant and made me curious about the hybrid.

Hi guys,

Things are moving as good as can be !

The stretch is almost over and she has really gotten big beyond my dreams !
I did not expect such a stretch but well it s all bonus !

The only thing is that the stealth grow turned into something more obvious but anyway, I ll cross my fingers. I could cut some tops to shorten her a litlle but it s heartbreaking... So far so good, I have not touched her...

Flowering has started about a week ago, so I aim for mid-October if everything goes well.

We had 3 consecutive days around 40°C and I noticed some pest attacks, thrips I think, I sprayed with soap and next week I ll spray again twice to stop them.

I have cut the liquid fertiliser dose by half.

Cheers guys.

Hi,

Good for you man, enjoy :)
Could you describe the aromas and the high ?

Cheers.
The aromas in the jar are exactly how the first bag tastes from a full bowl on the volcano @ 350f, that rotting fruit, with mango, sweet red raspberries, with a floral background. The second bag has all of the above, but mint shows up in the aftertaste. The third bag is thick vapor. It loses the forward fruit and floral, but picks up a delicious hashiness that if you know you know. I usually only run 3 bags, and always at 350f.
The high is top shelf. I am a heavy daily edibles user(medical) but the feel goods from the Z x KC cuts through anything I have already consumed. I catch myself smiling and laughing to myself. I could accomplish the things that need to be done, or sit and chill with some good music. Would be great for socializing if that’s your thing.
I have grown and sampled many great strains over the years, this is A+ for ease of growing and A+++ for taste and effect.

Hi guys,

A happy update as everything is going greatly ! I really enjoy growing her as she responds well to all the challenges so far ! That s strong and healthy genetics !

We are 3,5 weeks into flower and resin production has started 2 days ago.
The stretch is still on but slowing down, she is 1,8 meter tall (5,9 feet). As I said before, I did not expect such a stretch but I gladly welcomed it !

We ve had a 4-day heatwave and she loved it, flower growth is speeding up.

The sunlight however is steadily decreasing, now only 3 hours / day... Hopefully she will adapt, I hope she can finish up...

As for the cares, I give her weekly :
1 liquid fertiliser (1/3 of the vegetative dose).
1 herbal tea spray .
I did a second 501 last wednesday and I ll do the third and last one in 2 weeks to help her finish.

Take care guys.

Cheers.

I harvested mine about 8 days after my last post and pics.

I am hesitant about saying anything about a variety that I haven't cured properly, but I have to say that I have vaped some on about four occasions and this variety excites me. To call it a hash plant is kind of accurate but this is much more. The first time I vaped I had some amazing insights into a problem I had, an epiphany of sorts. This stuff just makes everything feel right. No negative feelings whatsoever. It is stimulating and energetic, yet deeply relaxing as well. One of the best indica/sativa hybrids I've had. It is pretty much perfect so far. I am moving into edibles and can't wait to try this as an edible.

It really makes me want to try Zamaldelica and Kali China separately to see what each brings to this fantastic cross. Thanks Dubi, amazing work.

Thanks a lot for your positive feedback guys means a lot to me you are enjoying Zamaldelica x Kali China so much and rate the hybrid so high  Its parent plants are 2 of my favorite mothers and strains for terpenes and quality effects, and the cross turns out unique, with some transgressive expressions for terpenes not found in its parents.

Glad to see her already flowering since late August @terroirist :) She is indeed a happy, healthy girl!

Zamaldelica x Kali China is a complex poly hybrid, so it's not easy to predict the final phenotype based on her growing traits (which so far look Kali China dom, but more vigorous and branchier). So better wait till she shows all her flowering traits and you can describe to us her terpene profile while ripening.

Although for proper flowering process 4-5 hours of direct light is required, Kali China and this cross don't need so much direct light to have a good development in flowering, hopefully will be enough in your case.

Thanks Dubi,

She is still ripening smoothly although sunlight decreases. So far she is moving on !

The terpenes are still quiet although resin starts building up nicely. I ll let you know about them when they get louder ;)

Cheers.

Hi friends,

Well everything is still going smoothly !

She is filling up nicely and steadily. So far there has been sun everyday and warmth but I feel things are changing and autumn is upon us here... This means rainfall and danger !

In spite of the sun we had 36 mm of rain over last week ! Yesterday was stormy but she held strong !

No damage so far but it s clearly the money time so I ll be watchful of rot from now on... She may be done by mid-October hopefully...

Otherwise, I have staked the plant and every brach is tied to that central stake so it should not break even if loaded with buds ;)

I ll do a horsetail tea next week to prepare against budrot and I ll spray her once a week until harvest. I keep giving a weekly liquid fertiliser.

Cheers.

Steep hill you're growing on

Yes man, it s the typical clay limestone hill in my zone, quite stony but lots of clay too.
Although in my garden it is even steeper !

I did a tiny terrace to plant it, so her soil is native but perfectly flat ang she did grow perfectly straight. The rainfalls are sucked by the terrace too, so for a first time on the hill, it goes well.

That soil is awesome, she loves it.
I guessed she would but it s confirmed.
It will never get soggy either with that slope.

I am very happy with that spot !

Hi guys,

At last an update. I wish I could have done it earlier but days hace been too short lately !
It s the beginning of week 7 of flower.

She s moving on smoothly but surely. The exceptional sun and warm weather is a blessing for her.
After a very rainy week 5, week 6 was outstanding, she loves it ;)

Next week should be still great so we should not be far from the truth by the end of this week, my guess...

After the heavy rains, I removed 3 little budrot spots and now everything is healthy.

Just a few caterpillars gnawing but nothing to worry she still has so manuyleaves, it won t even slow her down...

Sorry for the hazy pics, I could only take them late. I ll do better next time.

I hope your grows are rocking too !

Cheers.

Thanks a lot for the updates, now she is a bit more advanced i can tell more: flower is shaping leaning to Zamaldelica with those elegant thin leaves, resins are more Kali China type. How would you describe her terpene profile now she is ripening ?

Hi Dubi,

Thanks for the info. I am super excited if she is taking a bit of both parents. She is really strong and willing to finish soon. She is helped by that great weather we have, what an autumn so far!
Well for terpenes I d say it s a mix of carrot and flowers like jasmine with some hashy undertones. Not yet any fruitiness that I could smell so far. But very intense already and getting more intense and defined day by day.

Cheers everybody.

Hi everybody,

Well she is getting closer but always slower because her direct sunlight is now less than 2 hours a day !
However she gets all day long some sunlight filtered through tree foliage which is little but still steady.
She really is going forward but it will take a little longer than 8 weeks I guess.
The problem is that rain might be back by next Saturday, she will be 8,5 weeks by then...

I ll see if I partially harvest her to safeguard some healthy buds. Anyway, the finish will be challenging !

Usually in our zone, October is okay but November really rainy and cold... So I ll be looking for that shift in the weather and harvest just before...

But so far it s a mild sunny autumn.

Terpenes are increasing : carrot, jasmine, tangerine, hash 👌.

Cheers guys.
