I get a distinct muscle relaxation effect from this ZKC, but not tired. Smoking isn’t an issue, because I don’t, but curing doesn’t seem to mellow it much for vaping either. It’s not the first plant that I use this way, I have had others go in the tincture pile exclusively too.

Next year in my garden, already have the beans :groupwave:

The terpenes profiles from this cross is amazing to say the less

Hi Ralph W. Llama, i'm sorry to hear the terps of your particular Z x KC didn't work well for you. I really like cinnamon and lavender terps in cannabis, cinnamon-like terps are pretty rare in today's genetics. I would encourage you to keep exploring more plants of this hybrid since it is a terp bomb (among other traits) and there are many many loud and enticing terp combos in this strain, every plant coming from Z x KC is different and unique on its own way. Z x KC is without any doubt among the most terpy sativa/indica hybrids in our catalogue, and stands out also for resins, earliness and potent quality hybrid effects.

Glad you liked it so much HCMPA and that you want to repeat this year! ;)

I took both of mine at 8.5 weeks. Both had a decent amount of amber starting to show and were really putting off the smells. I totally spaced taking pictures at the end. My bad. I’ll get some pictures of the buds once I’m done with curing.

The one in the top right of my last photo ended up being the tallest and set buds very similarly to my Zamaldelica just a little looser in structure. Had some grilled meat smells, dark fruit and floral smells. Lots of light purple coloration on the leaves and buds.

The one on the bottom right in my last pic stayed shorter and built buds more in long cola form than individual bud sets. It slightly hermied on me about 4 weeks into flower but only on 2 branches. Full male flowers not just nanners. I cut off those 2 branches and kept an eye on it. It never threw another Nanner or male flower. Smells were sweet and similar to Jack Herer but with a darker kind of fruit smell to the backend. This was hands down the greasiest feeling plant I’ve ever grown.

I’ll come back with a smoke report in a few weeks. Smell wise both of these are very complex and hard to describe. Both parents lend such unique and intense smell profiles that it just kind of makes my brain go numb trying to figure it all out.

So the one I’m holding onto clones of, the one from the top right in the Veg pic from earlier, had that kalichina grilled meat smell while flowering. That’s gone now as it cures, but wow the Anise!!! There are so many other floral, fruity and unexplainable smells but at the backend is a really strong and sweet anise. I’m really looking forward to trying this one.

My ZamalKC also has a cinnamon note, which is very yummy, but seems to be harsh. I typically use it for tinctures now, as even the vapor causes coughing. DJ Short mentioned in an interview that he had gotten cinammon flavors too and didn't like them due to similar reactions. Any one else experience this?

Skunk has my interest now but I like the same profiles u like. I'm pissed I didn't notice sooner in price chopper lmao but I'm a stoner it turns out. My skunk seeds j was gifted seem very pale. I'm dedicated tho.

This strain looks too good to pass up. Are you expecting a restock any time soon?

Mandala shows stock on them currently.

It’s well worth it. I pulled mine at 8.5 weeks and it’s really nice. Next run of her I’m letting some go longer to see what happens but she really came out nice on the first run. The colors from mid to late flower are also really nice. Lots of lavender hues on my cut and from the photos here some really dark purple as well.

It also clones super easily. Most of my cuttings had roots in 5 days.

Good to hear. Can’t wait to grow them! I’ll grab a pack today then, just wanted to make sure fresh seeds weren’t about to drop.

This will be my 6th Ace seeds strain and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Great work Ace.

After growing so many other sources of seeds over the years and having to constantly hunt for good phenos, it always makes me so happy how good pretty much every Ace plant comes out. I haven’t had a bunk one yet.

This a single zamxkali seed i popped and flowered quite early, soil was too rich i believe as some of the plants stunted compleatly, i did ad too much blood meal i think. It did ok in the end and zamxkal is still in there after a massive defoliation of dead leafs. Smell is mostly mango, resin production good and has an oilly texture, buds are on the fluffy leafy side so in expect a more satica leaning experience from tbis one, will know in a couple weeks. Along with her is a malawi fem a green point deputy , and a personal cross of jack cleaner x querkle that did not like the very rich soil had te repot it.

Thanks for joining the thread babe ruth with your Z x KC, she is overall very Kali China (for plant and flower structure, stretching, colors) with a more sativa look in the leaf traits. How many weeks is she into flowering ?

Its about 10 weeks from flip on the most recent picture, it did not have a long veg so took a while to show sex, it should come down this week at 11.5 weeks of fighting the winter air dryness she is done.

Very nice Baby ruth .... under what light is it?

Thank you sir, its 4 cob led that i did assemble on an aluminium frame, i can adjust the intensity and current but i have always kept them at 300 watt of draw in total, a bit past their optimal lumen per watt outputt. It is a lot of lumen since the grow space is 2 feet by 3. Did add a 60 watt led in the middle to cover all angles and a 26 watt uvb reptile light (on 1/3 of the time) was added this round. So it gets pretty bright and light penetration is good, i can stack this grow cabinet a lot more than i did this round and get good quality in the end.

To top or not?

I'm growing these outside and for the next month they're in pots I can move around with the sun. Later at least one will be planted a bit fenced in for part of the day from full sun. Perhaps it would be advantageous to not manipulate apical dominance so part of the plant will have full exposure longer throughout the day? At another site I'll probably grow one in all day full sun.
