Zamal Hash Plant - Last Lap

Hey all...hope everyone is doing fine out there. Just a couple of pics of my Hash Plant on day 59 of 12/12. I figure she'll go a bit further - I have to leave town on Jan 26 and I expect she'll be down by then if not sooner.

She was grown from clone and grew into this spidery beauty. Not a lot of bud sites but the buds that you see are huge, dense, and rock hard. Pine cones...except this is the most triched plant I have ever grown. If resin is a sign pointing to potency this plant looks absolutely devastating. Rather than individual glands, there are glaciers of glands, crowded together. I didn't take any micros, so it's difficult to do the trich fields justice but I hope to have more time for pics whenever I harvest.

Hope you enjoy. Feel free to share any thoughts about phenotype or opinions regarding maturity of this beautiful strain.

Hey! Thanks, lickalotpus and Terpene!!

Oh, yeah! Just call me an enabler, Terpene. Karma is a bitch, given how much inspiration you have given me with your grows. Can't wait to see what this baby can do!

As to the leaves - I have been known to pull 'em off...these days, I've been yanking 'em more freely because we've been juicing 'em and I'm thinking I don't see any bad effects on my plants/buds, etc. While I did do some pulling on the Zamal Hash - there were just not a lot of leaves and most of them were taken to clear out the middle. Id o try to yank a few at a time, so it goes on during the entirety of the flowering period.

Looks flippin deadly! I can only imagine that's going to be spectacular and really strong stuff.. Anything with Zamal as a parent is going to probably rock your socks off.

Be interesting what the hashplant adds to the mix.. See how much body there is etc.. Looking forward to the smoke report..

:)

Hey...Khalbhairav...Normally, I nibble. In this case, however, I have somehow managed to keep my hands away from the goods. I don't know how. She's amazing. And she's coming down soon.

Hi HerBnGorE(illa)! Thanks...All credit to genetics and the geneticians.

So, as per, I'm a bit perplexed as to when to harvest. Happens almost every time! She's at 63 days and looking quite ripe - still, there's the occasional white pistil. Very lethargic and alone in a sea of brown. (Although it's possible she's launching another late pistil rally - a few have popped up as of late). I'm still not seeing any amber, however - at least not as a few days ago). So I'm not quite sure that she's ready quite yet. The limiting factor (as per) is a week-long trip outta town. I leave Jan 26. I'll probably take her down on Wednesday (day 66) - that would probably give her enough time to dry before my trip. Only other possibility would be to let her go till Sunday the 25th (day 70). The two issues with that scenario being she'll be hanging for eight days unattended and I get concerned that she'd dry out too thoroughly. Also, real estate is at a high premium in my little space and there are some small fry that are looking to move up town and into the limelight. Well...that's it. Not knowing the strain, I have no idea as to how the head may change if she goes longer. Zig or zag? Zamal effect or hashplant? Feel free to join in with the on-going discussion in my head!

Hi Mayan :)

It''s great to see you around! What an amazing Zamal Hash you have there, mouthwatering pics :yummy: I like a lot its resin production, flower density, flower/leaf ratio and the short flowering time, looks also like a good yielder. In my opinion looks perfect for harvest in the first post. Hope you saved some clones!
