Your ultimate 4 way sativa cross (Haze style)

Jamaican lambsbread 16 week X MTF (Alaskian thunder fuc-k)
malawi gold X Burmese
Then cross back to MTF so it leans MTF and hopefully shortens flowering.

(GN Thaistick sativa 'acid pheno' x Killer malawi cut) x (Oaxacan 79 cut x Gerrits Zamal cut)

For me as a complete newbie regarding landraces and breeding most of those posts sound like a grocery list from a rocket scientist. Those rare posts, where some of you actually explain for what they want this or that cross and why it would result in great offspring, are the ones I really appreciate. Thank you guys for your time!

A dream cross I'll going to try if all goes well is (Golden Tiger [aka Malawi x Meao Thai] x Finola) x ((Vietnam Black x Meao Thai) x Finola) .
Obviously this would/will take time and luck as the second big cross would be between the F3 generations needed to get rid of major unwanted Finola characteristics or eventually even one or two back-crosses to the first mothers.

True, the one I just posted (Vietnam x PNG) x (Sumatra x Manipur) is basically geographical comprised of very long flower Asian/Oceanic satis that come from humid climates, spanning from east India (Manipur), further east into 'Nam, down into pure equatorial Sumatra then further into the southern hem. in Papua New Guinea

I havent smoked any of those strains btw lol, just dreaming.
Sumatran weed is especially interesting being smack on the equator.

What benefit would Finola bring to the haze?

What benefit would Finola bring to the haze?
Maybe early flowering/finishing, shorter manageable stature, humidity, cold & pest resistance, CBD chemotype if desired, diversity concerning terpenes and minor cannabinoids?
Or maybe it will send the whole thing down the drain and I'd be better off with a Ciskei or Nepali... ain't no idea, it's just a dream :D .
For some unknown reason I like Finola (silly me) and I figured that crosses with it should be done with very strong F1s to introduce a broad variety of genes and overwhelm its low cannabinoid content etc.

I was also thinking that selecting a Malawi leaning pheno of the (Golden Tiger x Finola) and crossing that with a Meao Thai leaning one of the ((Vietnam Black x Meao Thai) x Finola) could be nice as it would result in something like a Golden Tiger 'auto'. I shall call it then Siberian Tiger :) . But that's something in the future.

Would certainly be a unique cross, I was thinking the other day of getting an extreme sativa, and breeding some CBD strain into it, so youd have the trippy/stimulant terpenes with a touch of CBD to smooth it out/lower anxiety.

Vietnam Black x Swazi Red would be a tasty bud indeed.

(Hmong Hilltribe x Kumaoni) x (Jamaican Haze x Panama)

Hmong Hilltribe: Thai Sativa traditionally grown by the Hmong people in the golden triangle area. Typical thaistick no ceeling so added therefore! Finishing between 16 and 26 weeks. (Breeders Choice)
btw I have 6 of them in Veg atm, will post pics if interested

Kumaoni: Charas Plant!!! As i am not allowed to use some real Indica for frostyness i thought that a Charas Plant might be also do the job. I would be looking for a resin male (RSC)

Jamaican Haze: It's no true Landrace. Its a Jamaican bagseed from Amsterdam which became a beatiful female with endless flowering time crossed with a Delta 9 male and reselected on Jamaican traits. the result was a cut that gives a decent product in 10 Weeks (this strain has the ability to flower god knows how long) and still has a very clear uphigh. the creator mentioned the sepcial clearness of the high, it doesnt interfere with your concentration @ work or study quite as much as other strains especially hybrids.
So this is the main trait should be looked after in the hybrid.

Panama: Im quite not sure about the Panama because it might interfere with the jamaican effect i am after. Since the high of the Panama cut we have is described always with one word: BRAINFUCK *_*
I hope maybe the selected male does add other traits. I like coloured Plants so i thought about selecting a fast purple maybe resined male to give it a little more freakyness.

But as this is a 4 way hybrid i dont know how high the possibility that all traits will show up in the same plant are? Clear euphoric uptaking ceelingless high, citrus smell, hazy taste and of course purple flowers that want to be chopped in 16 Weeks latest^^
I guess its like playing lottery

The strains i mentioned are all availiable for me so maybe I'm gonna try this one out one day!

I'd let Ace do half of the work for me. Maybe Golden Tiger (Malawi/Thai)/Bangi Haze (Congo/Nepal) or something.

Or a CBG deep chunk cross like panama/dc if it would be allowed.

Exactly and I'm doing just that

Ace has contributed Zamaldelica regular (ZamalxMalawi/Thai) that is three already...
Now cross that with Lionheart (US #14 SativaxUnknown African Sativa) = What I'm calling for now "Zamalie Lion"!

Lionheart is a clear energetic sativa high that you can smoke all day long with no adverse come down effects, no hangover, no paranoid tendencies, no cottonmouth...

The Zamaldelica that I have, have two distinct highs, one euphoric and racey and another euphoric and trippy.

Both plants are branchy as all get out and grow into large scale bushes.

I will likely backcross a few times here and there experimenting with these two potent sativas.

^^ me2 on zamaldelica. loads of potential. i could have used the zamal pheno out of zamaldelica but there are several phenos cropping up out of my seeds of africa zamal project i'm currently working on ( if only i can find a good non hermie male.... :) ). i like both the zamal from zamaldelica and the non autoflowering zamal sats from soa.

just pollinated a seeds of africa zamal female with some pollen from destroyer selected male for rhmx with some meao thai in there ( no sign of punta rojo's early seedling wider leaves).

^ zamal/rhmx or zamal/(rhmx/mt).

doing work on a very sativa papua new guinea gold in line breeding project from southern star seeds nanan bouclou. have some nice male pollen freezer stored. need a really good extreme sativa png female. burnt fan leaf smoke aroma is the indicator here as well as very strong potency for fan leaves.

take my seeds of africa mandingo keeper breeder malawi gold female and hit her up with some xtrm-sat png pollen.

end result:

zamal/rhmx x png/malawi gold

zamal: euphoric
rhmx: racy, trippy ( perhaps zamalitos favorite sa strain)
png: euphoric/rainbow descriptors from sss and is consistent with my png dom nanan bouclou from 2014
mg soa: indoors was very very potent and very very psychoactive. od 2014 didn't complete flowering as well before early freeze.

i've read the excellent work on original haze genetics by big herb but i still suspect that the punta rojo bag-seed crossed to itself might have been pollinated with some outdoor random pollen from a south american electric landrace like celestial temple sativa, rhmx, fire fox tail, arcaju red or an excellent manga rosa. aracaju red and manga rosa are thought to have been originated from africa angola redpossibly transported by african workers to sa. i have bsc's punta rojo and have read some of kaiki's posts on punta rojo and i suspect the electricity in the original haze either came from an unusually electric punta rojo strain or random pollen ( which does happen especially with outdoor grown plants) from an outdoor sa male growing near the punta rojo female the bag-seed was collected from .

sam the skunk man, nevil, haze bros., and others did some fabulous work but they did not work with many strains that also have tremendous potential in poly sat hybrids.

nice thread thule. :)

Nice ideas, I will go with 2 crosses;

(Zamal x Punto rojo)x (oaxaca x thai)
(colombian gold x oaxaca) x (thai x nepalese)

But there are many mixes I would love to try and imagine to imbreed some day.
